In July of 2013 I hired this atty to help me get my past due medical and child support arrearage. Upon discussing my retainer, I was told this should be more than enough to cover this simply black and white, cut and dry case. Two months into the case I was billed for nearly half of what was due to m...e by the non-custodial parent. There was a modification and a contempt order that were to be served on the other parent. After several emails and calls I was told the papers had finally been sent. Little did I know that both orders were NOT picked up so we had two different court dates set. What this did was give her more ammunition to charge me for more emails, phone calls and such. I even paid to pick up money from them that was paid to me by the non-custodial parent. I drove 45 minutes to pick up the money, was in their office for less than 5 minutes (counting the money and setting up a payment play to pay for their services) and i was charged over $200 for that alone! Not to mention i was charged $80 for their process server to pick up the money and drive it to them. So in essence i paid nearly $300 to pick up money owed to me. They have two offices, one in clear lake and one in the galleria office. When I met with her in the galleria office i was charged $200 for her to drive to their office. I was also charged another $156 , after the papers were finally sent to the AG’s office April 24th, 3 months after this case was “finalized”. In total for a cut and dry case I was charged nearly $7k. The money I received from the non-custodial parent, $8k. WOW!!! That’s a true hero.....awarding me $1k for all the years of unpaid child support and medical bills owed. This attorney is a joke. I wish i had never called or gone in to meet with her. She had so many promising stories that she told of what I was owed, what was mine and what she would get for me. The first court date they offered, were not asked but offered to pay me a lump sum to pay off the back support, she DID NOT get that for me. Once i did receive the money from them i started to get nickel and dimed for basically breathing! Stay as far away as you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From my first meeting with Michelle, she put me at ease with her ability to assist me through my divorce, She has been responsive and knowledgeable. She has answered my phone calls and emails in a timely mannner. She is truly an advocate and a very good listener. I appreciate that she shows consi...deraton for the emotional side of divorce as well. I feel more secure during this difficult transition in my life knowing that she is handling my divorce for me.
