Wonderful and caring lawyer who truly cares about small business

It is a breath of fresh air when you talk to an attorney that truly gives you his time to listen to your case and provide reasonable fees according to your individual position and needs. Stephen Cochell is that guy and there are very few like him. Many lawyers will quote you outrageous retainer fees ...designed to milk their clients from the get-go. Go with a lawyer that works with your financial position from the beginning.

Top legal work one of the best you can hire

I had the privilege of working with Stephen Cochell and his firm, Cochell Law, during a highly complex case involving the Federal Trade Commission. From start to finish, my experience with Stephen and his team was nothing short of exceptional, earning them a solid five-star rating. Cochell Law stand...s out for their unparalleled ability to think outside the box and devise ingenious strategies, even in the toughest of situations. With Stephen's background as a former JAG attorney and Assistant United States Attorney, the firm's leadership and expertise are truly remarkable. One aspect that particularly impressed me was their commitment to fair billing practices. Throughout the process, I never felt overcharged or undervalued – the transparency in their billing methods was commendable. Despite being a busy firm, I always felt like a priority. Stephen himself was directly involved in our case, providing personalized attention and ensuring that every detail was thoroughly addressed. What sets Cochell Law apart is their remarkable knack for effective problem-solving. They navigated through our complex issues with ease, ultimately delivering outcomes that exceeded my expectations. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Cochell Law to anyone in need of honest, talented legal representation. If you're looking for a team that can tackle challenges head-on and consistently deliver outstanding results, look no further than Stephen Cochell and his exceptional firm.

Horrific Experience

NEW My trial for a speeding ticket was reset from 2019-2022 and my attorney never filed a motion to dismiss. The only time I heard from my attorney is each time the trial was reset. I paid $1,500 dollars to wait three years for my case to finally be dismissed due to police officer no show. On the da...y of my actual trial, I took two Ubers only to find my attorney waiting outside to tell me that my case was dismissed and that I could leave. Then when I asked him to provide me with correspondence related to my dismissal he responded that he would provide it to me but he was not sure how the court handled their proceedings. I emailed Stephen and Jonathan requesting correspondence of case dismissal and I never received a response to that email. Also, there were several videos that were allowed to be entered into evidence for my case and each time those videos were edited by the police department. I don’t recommend this firm if you’re passionate about civil rights and have been wrongly accused. I hired Stephen because after telling him my story of how awful I was treated by the court on my first court date based on my ethnicity, he talked to me about his misfortunes being a Jewish man in the military. He made me feel like he actually cared about me and he understood where I was coming from. All that changed when he chose Jonathan Slotter to represent me. What I have learned about this experience is that money talks and no one really has your back in this corrupted system. Am I relieved that my case was dismissed? Yes. Am I happy on how we achieved that goal? Not at all.

Sharp Honest and Dedicated

Stephen is immediately honest and focused on the truth. The case was analyzed and a strategy for an effective legal victory was planned. He was constantly looking for ways to updated the case with the available law to keep moving forward. He was working ahead of schedules and deadlines not waiting t...ill the last minute. It was very calm and comfortable to work with him. He is very fair and budget friendly with his legal fees. The focus was on the reality of the case and not hype or empty promises. His actions speak louder than his words. Highly Recommended.

Business Litigation

Steve saved me thousands of dollars by negotiating a settlement, rather than taking it to trial. Really a great lawyer, who I'd recommend to anyone.
