Excellent Attorney - I found Patric after separating from my now ex-wife while looking for an attorney that specialized in ‘collaborative-divorces’. Unfortunately the tactics of ex-wife's chosen of attorney drastically changed the needed approach. Patric and his team handled every challenge (and th...ere were many) with a very difficult opposing counsel with success. He has a thoughtful, logical and methodical approach with a strong focus on the law versus emotion. I was consistently informed of the actions and strategy underway in my case, and always felt confident in he and his teams ability to reach a fair outcome, even when the other side made doing so difficult at every turn. He handled my many concerns with tact, and kept me and the case focused on the key elements, and the eventual fair and successful conclusion of the divorce. In undergoing a divorce procedure and not having had any experience prior with what I should expect, I had many concerns. As I was interested in a collabrative approach, It was important for me to seek out a firm that would embrace a cooperative process and help mitigate the possibility of things go...ing the wrong direction. It was also important for me to retain a firm who had my best interest at heart and could empathize with what I was going through while helping me keep costs down to the fullest extent possible. After having worked with Patric McCallum of Drew & McCallum, I felt like these goals were acheived. I found Patric to be professional, accessible, and responsive to my needs. He was strategic and calculated in his approach to my case, which I feel was beneficial to my outcome. Mr McCallum is a terrible attorney. He not only took it upon himself to file documents that I did not request, he refused to amend his filings because they were "not in the best interest of the client"- who was me. He took advantage of my weakness when I was going through one of the most difficult ...times of my life, my divorce. Not only did he get angry when I wanted to drop my case, but then when I had no other option but to pursue the lawsuit, he filed a lot of things I didn't request just to run up my bill. Then, he did not respond to my multiple inquiries regarding my discovery- until the DAY it was due. I had no legal counsel, at all, during one of the most difficult times in my life. He then got angry and didn't respond on the due date, citing I had not paid my bill. I had not only paid my account promptly (like I did every bill") I had paid him more than he requested the week before he the was supposed to turn in my documentation, and I did not have a balance due. Now he is constantly challenging my disputes (I presume and hope he doesn't have any other clients)... he is the epitome of sleazy attorneys and I highly recommend you do not consider hiring him.
