Biography
Attorney Francisco Tinoco was born and raised in South Texas, from immigrant parents.
After graduating from Edinburg High School located in Edinburg, Texas, Mr. Tinoco attended Columbia College in New York City, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in American History.
After graduating from Columbia College, Mr. Tinoco attended the Law School at Columbia University, also located in the City of New York. Mr. Tinoco was awarded the Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School, with a Certification from the Parker School of Foreign and Comparative Law. Mr. Tinoco is licensed to practice law in Texas, New York and Washington, D.C.
However, with respect to immigration cases, which are governed by federal law, Mr. Tinoco is able to represent clients from all over the United States and from all around the Globe. Mr. Tinoco has succesfully represented clients from all over the United States, and internationally from Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, China, India, Myanmar, Phillipines, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guatemala, and Costa Rica, to name just a few.
After practicing law in New York City at Clifford Chance, LLP, a major international law firm, Mr. Tinoco decided to return to Texas to start his own law practice and help clients with their immigration applications, including investor visas and work visas, before U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services and before the U.S. Consulates and U.S. Embassies around the world,.
Mr. Tinoco focuses his practice on family petitions, namely Adjustment of Status cases and Consular Process, Citizenship and Naturalization cases, I-601 and I-601A Waivers, VAWA, U Visas, E-2 and E-1 Investor Visa cases, and TN and L-1 work visas.
