My case was very complicated, it was a divorce with children, different properties, unfounded accusations, military retirement, retirement accounts, child support, and a few other things with 16 years of marriage. my ex wife using the silver bullet, (order of protection) because she had little chance... of getting custody without making me the father look as bad as possible. We had already spent 1 year In the divorce process when the judge dismissed our case because of the inability to agree and cooperate. I hired Mr Newton and filed for divorce the same day the first divorce got dismissed. The second round I knew I had the right person for the job, he took the case and immediately got to work on my case. By this time it was a mess and within 6 months we had our first emergency orders hearing to set temporary orders. I got to the court house expecting more issues but when I got there he walked up to me with a big smile on his face and said “do you want to get divorced today?” I said yeah I guess and he responded I think I have a great deal that you should be happy to take. 1. No child support- the children had lived with me for 2 years in the family home and not with their mother. 2. 50/50 shared parenting. 3. Each kept their own retirement. 4. 55/45 split on the house. And some other issues that had worked out in my favor or I should say the children’s favor. College funds, individual parents responsibilities for each child. In the end as a man in the family court system that had so many false accusations against him this was amazing to actually not just get slammed by the court and to come out of it with a very agreeable settlement for both me and my former wife. The attorney representing my wife came out slinging mud but Mr Newton brushed it off remained calm and reassured me that it was better to take the high road because the court would see through all the tricks and accusations in the end. So the first round with the other two attorneys caused more harm then good, they were too busy fighting each other to fight for us their clients. I would definitly recommend Mr Newton to anyone out there that needs a good attorney and wants to still maintain their dignity and maturity while faced with some Of the most childish and rediculious accusations and attacks by your former spouses attorneys. Strategy and honesty is the only way to go when it comes to child custody and a complicated divorce. 5 stars, thumbs up, he is the man, and if you want to do the right thing the right way he is the one to make sure it gets done.

Michael conducted a very thorough consultation with me today. I had some questions about breaking my lease before move in. Michael quickly scheduled a call with me. I appreciated his quick response time since I called 6 lawyers today and could only reach voicemails or receptionists. He took the time ...to review my documents, ask questions and give me wise advice on each of my options. Unfortunately I didn’t get the answer I wanted but I trusted his judgement of what options I could take. I would definitely use him as my lawyer in the future and avoid the hassle of reading confusing contracts.

I won an eviction case in JP court without an attorney. The other side appealed and I hired Mr. Newton to DEFEND me. During the Zoom Trial, he said very little. He asked me a couple of useless questions. He did not allow my brother, the co-defendent to testify. He appeared to be reading his text mess...ages and emails during the trial. All he had to do was to ask us about eah alleagation in the Petition. He didn't do his job. We got evicted! Then, he had to nerve to bill me for the portion he would have requested from the other side after we won. He kept telling me leading up the the trial that we would most likely win because most Judges agree with JP Court. He did not defend us!

On 3 1 2024 at 3:15 a.m. was taking laundry downstairs. Went to check that I closed the door to 417 and slipped on the floor landing on my butt and back area hurting myself. The neighbor Joey in 418 came out when he heard the noise and asked me if I was alright. I called the hotel to report it now th...ey banned me from the property. I
