My husband recently passed away and I was left with a lot of confusion along with my sorrow. I contacted Mr. Dietlein to clear some of my questions. He immediately contacted me back and guided me throughout the whole process. Whenever I had a question he was there to support me.
I would definitely recommend his services.

Mr Dietlein did mo will some year ago. I found him very thorough and professional, he found information for my foreign beneficiaries, that I did not think of getting. Altogether the whole experience was very satisfactory. Last year some rather complicated changes in the Executor were necessary. His advice was most helpful In consideration of my circumstances and the specifics of the situation he was generous to do all this work pro bono..

Mr. Dietlein prepared wills for my husband and me. He was very pleasant to work with, very knowledgeable, explained things clearly, and he and his staff were punctual and did accurate work. I had dealt with a lawyer previously who produced documents that were full of errors and typos, so I was very happy with the accuracy of Mr. Dietlein and his staff. I later asked him to handle a real estate transaction for me and was once again impressed with his efficiency and accuracy. We also felt that the amount he charged us for his services was very reasonable.

Lawrence Dietlein assisted me with probating my mother’s estate when she passed away in Houston, TX. I live in Atlanta, GA and needed expert advice and assistance locally. As independent executor, the best decision I made was hiring Lawrence. He is very knowledgeable about Texas probate requirements. He clearly communicated what my responsibilities were to be, what his were, and how the process was likely to go. In fact, the probate process occurred exactly as he advised. He recommended early on that I have a clear communications plan with the beneficiaries (my siblings), so they would know what was happening behind the scenes and would have confidence that their interests were being properly addressed. This advice turned out to be very helpful, as I received virtually none of the delay tactics and resistance that I had anticipated during this very emotional period for my family.
The communications plan started with Lawrence’s clear communication to me of the Texas probate process. We established a go-forward plan and also had contingency plans in the event that a beneficiary disagreed. That helped me explain the benefits of being responsive to my siblings.
Lawrence is a trusted, knowlegble advisor. We appeared before the judge in probate court, and the process went exactly as Lawrence had advised. Lawrence was honest and responsive throughout the process. I never felt that I was bothering him with questions or concerns or that I was not his most important client. He was always immediately available to answer my questions. Most importantly, I felt Lawrence was always honest with me. I never felt that anything was done at my expense or not in the best interest of the estate and the beneficiaries. When we were winding up the estate and making the final distributions, he estimated the cost of drafting and filing the final notices to the court and thereby accepted the risk associated with any unforeseen delay (i.e.: since the estate assets were then fully-distributed.) This was further demonstration to me of his integrity and willingness to do the right thing for his client.
Lawrence was the attorney I chose to probate my mother’s estate; however, he was not the first attorney I used in the state of Texas. I previously needed assistance with advanced directives and a living will. The experience I had with that attorney was completely different than my experience with Lawrence (and thus why I did not use his firm for the estate.) I only mention this, because I have first hand, personal experience with working with someone I trust (and I absolutely trusted Lawrence) and with someone I could not trust.
In a nutshell, Lawrence explained the process to me concisely and logically. The process went according to plan. He kept me apprised of our progress and he charged the estate a reasonable fee for his valued services. The best decision I made in the whole process was retaining Lawrence Dietlein.

Lawrence was the attorney for the estate of my best friend. I met him when my friend passed away. I hired him on the spot to help me through the challenges of dealing with the estate and settling it. His information and steady hand were invaluable to me and to the intent of executing the estate according to the wishes of my friend. He was always a calm voice of reason when ever I had issues and proved to be extremely competent in all phases of the process of completing my friends last wishes. There were complications and his original drafting of the will made those complications easier to wade through. I found him to be very straight forward and had a complete grasp of his field of practice.
I highly recommend him because he was always available with great advice and personal attention. He also had a complete grasp of my friend's intentions and guided me through all steps of the will and the resultant Trust that had to be setup. I highly recommend that you contact him if you require the services he offers.

I'm a California resident and needed help handling my brothers estate after his sudden passing. I was referred to Lawrence Dietlein and he was a tremendous resource. Lawrence helped me navigate through the probate process and hearing minimizing my time investment and guiding me on the best course of action to meet my families goals. Lawrence was responsive to e-mails, timely in his documentation, and clear in his communication. He helped me finalize a trust for my niece and nephew during a difficult time for my family and was always sensitive. I would highly recommend Lawrence Dietlein for family law.

Mr Dietlein did our will for us and I must say he was down to earth in his suggestions and answered all our questions so that all points were addressed. I wanted someone that could explain in simple terms so that I could understand what was being stated. I would recommend his service because of his clarity in explaining and the professionalism of his staff when needing response.

About seven years ago,on the advice of a friend , my wife Elaine asked Lawrence Dietlein to write a new will for her. She was thoroughly pleased with the result. Last year we both decided to have a new will, and because of Elaine's enthusiasm we asked him to prepare new wills for the two of us. Many e-mails later , Lawrence answered our endless questions , in terms we could understand.
With no reservations , we highly recommend anyone seeking legal advice about estate planning to contact :
