Exceptional Family Law Attorney

Barry Radcliffe represented me in a highly contentious divorce and did a fantastic job. He was open and honest with me, always kept me informed and when it came time to go to court: WOW! I cannot say enough good things about this lawyer and his firm. Would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of... good family law attorney!

Don't throw your money away, or give it to Barry Radcliffe

We hired Barry Radcliffe based upon internet reviews. We are not from Houston but needed a Houston attorney. His only charge was to prove the ex-spouse was in contempt of court because the child did not fly to Dallas on Christmas Day as was clearly laid out in the visitation documents. This was a ...slam dunk case. We spoke to Barry several times on the phone about the visitation issue and tried to explain to him what he was up against. We explained that the ex-spouse was as dishonest as anyone we had ever seen and would say or do anything as long as it benefited him. We gave many, many examples, but Barry would always say that if the example didn't relate specifically to this Christmas Day visitation issue, then it was inadmissible. Again, we tried to tell Barry that all stops would be pulled out on the other side. Barry wouldn't budge. So we went into the hearing with an attorney who was grossly unprepared, and late to the hearing. In the hearing, the ex-spouse did exactly what we said he would, which was lie and use every made up example that he could think of just to win. The judge bought the lies hook, line and sinker. All Barry could do was look at us and beg us to come up with a defense against the lies. So in the hearing he wanted us to re-tell all of the issues that he had previously told us were inadmissible. We lost. Barry lost but Barry got paid. After the verdict was stated, Barry just walked out of the courtroom. Don't let this happen to you!!

This isn't even the client's review, it is her current spouse who was not even my client. This person was negative from the very beginning, tried to run the whole show, made unrealistic demands on myself, his spouse and the Court and when things didn't go the way he wanted he attacked myself, his spouse (who was my client) and the Judge. He didn't even use his name and posted anonymously instead, knowing that he was not my client. The post itself doesn't even make sense. He claims it was a "slam dunk case" and the only issue was denial of visitation on Christmas day and then he says that the other side won because they "made up every example they could think of just to win". If the only issues was whether or not the minor child was produced on Christmas day how could the other side win by making up examples? Examples of what? The post itself is nonsense. My actual client understood the problems inherent in the Order that she was trying to enforce (and that had been drafted by another attorney) and she thanked me for my efforts. Her current spouse, who wrote this post and was not even my client, wanted his pound of flesh from my client's former husband for whatever personal reasons and when he didn't get it he went on the attack against everyone.

Excellent family law attorney

Barry provided me with expert advice and insight in my modification action. He was knowledgeable of the law and the courts and guided me through a difficult process. He was aggressive with the other lawyer when necessary and was always honest with me regarding my options. His experience, compassion... and insight made me feel well represented. I cannot say enough about his abilities as an exceptional family law attorney.

Fantastic Family Law Attorney - Will Fight for You!

We hired Barry based on this website's rating and years of service (no reviews yet). We had to hire him after we had to fire another lawyer for our custody modification case that was disputed (the other lawyer - Peggy Bittick. Please read my review before considering her.). I went to Barry with se...rious concerns about whether he would do his job because of our other experience; and his no-nonsense approach was very clear - "I'm paid to do my job, and I do it well." That he does. Immediately after we hired him, he got the ball rolling and filed everything that needed to be done and gave us everything we needed to do. I was always informed immediately of anything that was happening and he always gave me responses within 24 hours. But that isn't the best part. When we actually had to litigate and go in front of a judge, amicus, and mediator he was awesome! He was completely prepared, very well spoken and commanding (he won an argument against continuance from the other attorney). With the mediator his "don't waste our time and my client's money attitude" was received; and, even if they didn't like it, it worked very well in our favor. We ended up settling in mediation, but we believed we were going to court for a custody battle. If we did have to go to court, I felt complete trust that he would do his best for us. I also felt that we got the outcome we did because of his skill. I would strongly recommend him for any custody/divorce case.
