I am sharing my personal experience with Herrman & Herrman to advise others based on my own journey with the firm. In my opinion, the service did not align with their "Everybody is a somebody" slogan. I found the communication to be slow and the responses I received felt repetitive and scripted rathe...r than helpful. My experience with specific staff members was deeply concerning: Gender Identity: I felt that my identity was not respected by Paul Volbrecht. Despite making it clear that I am a transgender woman, I was repeatedly addressed with "Mr." and masculine pronouns, which I found to be discriminatory and disrespectful. Medical Records & Communication: There was significant confusion regarding my medical records. Crystal Taylor and her team, including Aurora, claimed to have my complete files; however, they later indicated records were missing. I also experienced a lack of follow-up regarding a promised claim number and several of my emails went unanswered. Post-Termination: After I chose to terminate the relationship for cause, the firm placed a lien on my case. Due to what I perceive as a lack of professionalism and a failure to meet basic standards of care, I have taken the step of filing a grievance with the State Bar. I recommend that anyone seeking legal counsel perform extensive due diligence before signing with this firm.
