I am a native Texan with a passion for excellence in serving my extensive family law clientele.  I have over 25 years of experience fighting for the rights of those in need in the family law arena. I have represented men, women, and children from all walks of life in myriad complex legal scenarios. I welcome challenges and relishes the opportunity to win “against the odds”.  My passion for helping others drive me in every case to help my clients move forward toward the most successful resolution possible.

I also am very active in the family law community, serving on multiple boards in service to both the family bar and the bar in general.  When not engaged in the foregoing interests, I also enjoy mentoring young legal professionals who desire to have successful practices in the area of family law.

When not engaged in the practice of law, I enjoy cooking with my husband, Bill, and tending the multiple gardens we share that contain vegetables, orchids, succulents, tropicals, and bromeliads.

The best Lawyer in Houston!
I cannot be more than happy and thankful by the service and attention my case had. Mrs. Levi was very professional and responsive to all my questions and concerns, she fought for my case and finalized my process always looking for the best interests on my side. Someone who was and continues to be a blessing throughout the process was Melissa Gaston, not only she guided me getting ready all my paperwork, but also listened to me in my hardest moments...this is a wonderful team that not only looks at you as just another case or new client, they really see the human side and undestand the struggles we face when dealing with a divorce. All the stress and frustrations were always taken care in the most compasionate way that I never felt I was talking to a Lawyer or Paralegal specialist...I felt I was treated like a human being, they are super friendly and thoughtful. I will definitely recommend Mrs. Levi and her team Melissa Gaston, it all went smooth because of them and my divorce was finalized within 4 months due to the pandemic. Highly Recommend!
I could not be happier with Ms. Levi’s performance from start to finish with my divorce. Her professionalism, compassion and integrity were beyond my expectations but I was most impressed with her grit when it came to looking out for my best interests. She was tough as nails.

Highly recommended - Compassionate, smart and tough attorney
Assisted in me a child custody matter with the best possible outcome. Caring and compassionate yet a tough cookie. Made a horribly emotional situation for me, tolerable. Our attorney, Kimberly Levi did an awesome job from beginning to end. I called frantically needing an emergency order at 2pm. She called me back at 4pm placed my mind at ease instantly. I was fearful that I would lose all right to continue to care for my granddaughter in which I had done since birth with my daughter there off and on however had not been there for the last 17months. Mrs. Kimberly met me the next day and we started the process. I am blessed and happy to say my husband and I both have custodial custody of our granddaughter and we have been granted the right to carry her on our insurance, carry her on our income tax and most importantly we know she can not be taken away from our safe and loving home. We can not Thank Mrs. Kimberly Levi enough for her knowledge, dedication, and support of our situation. Grandparents if you need to protect your grandchild by seeking custody, please know your rights will be enforced with Kimberly Levi. Thank you Again Kimberly!!!

Saved our adoption and our family!
Having finalized the adoption of our children a number of years ago, we never thought we would have a future need for a family attorney. My husband knew Mrs. Levi thru work and we are so grateful that we had Mrs. Levi representing us with CPS and the family courts to a successful outcome -- which kept our adoption stable and saved our family. Highly Recommend!
When we lost all hope of getting our 1 year old back home safe, No other would take our case. I called Kimberly's office and spoke to her assistant, Melissa, (also an incredible person) giving her a brief statement of the facts, Kimberly Levi immediatey took my call. The shocking words I will never forget was " How fast can you be in my office?" I was there in 30 minutes! The next words that I will never forget was "If I find that you lie to me, I will drop this case Immediatly!" I knew then that I was blessed with a one in a million Attorney! The court ordered my baby back home less than 24 hours later! Would recommend anyone to her. Just know she has integrity and will fight hard for you as long as you respect the truth! Amazing woman! You would think she was fighting for her own life! Responed to all of my calls quickly and walked us directly thru to Managing Conservators in the custody case. Our son is home safe thanks to her knowledge and expertise!

Family Law Attorney Review
I came to Houston Texas in an emergency and had to take custody of my grandsons so I could leave the state of Texas. Needing an attorney I called Kimberly Levi, talked with her over the phone, was impressed with her interaction with me and hired he on the spot. She was professional, respectful, and empathetic to my situation. Kimberly Levi worked quickly and diligently with me and many different courts within Texas to help me gain custody of my grandsons. Within 45 days I had custody and was on my way back home. Words and thanks could not express how grateful I was that she was able to accomplish this in such a short duration. I would not hesitate to use Kimberly Levi again if I needed her in Texas.

Best Family Lawyer in Texas
Mrs Levi is by far one of the best family lawyer's in the state of Texas, her reputation proceeds her. In this state it is down right unheard of for a man to gain custody of his child let alone a daughter and Mrs Levi delivered. After hearing about her past battles for families in various circumstances, I knew she was the lawyer for me. In what I thought was an impossible situation, I was awarded custody of my daughter thanks solely to Mrs Levi. I would strongly recommend her for any of your attorney needs. Kimberly Made Us a Forever Family
My husband and I decided to adopt older siblings from foster care (i.e. We were "foster-to-adopt" parents). We attempted to advocate for our children and ourselves while the system failed them/us for months and months with seemingly no end and no adoption date. Nearly to the point of throwing in the towel, we hired Kimberly to intervene in the family course case on our behalf. In very short order, she assessed the situation, presented a credible case to the court, and walked alongside us and our children to resolve the case in a way that established lasting and positive relationships between us and our children's first family. Once the family court case was resolved satisfactorily, she handled the proceedings to complete the adoption. We couldn't be more pleased with Kimberly's work ethic, knowledge, creativity, and collegial interactions with all parties. Very few attorneys will represent foster parents, and those who do are often unable to navigate this area of the law. Kimberly did an exceptional job.

Great Lawyer!
I have to completely disagree with the review of Mrs. Levi that I just read. She just completed my case with CPS and with her help I got my kids back and CPS off my back at the first adversary hearing. She was responsive, on time, and well educated in family law and the court systems. Note to all that are looking for an attorney: you have to work in order for an attorney to work for you. You can't just give someone money and expect them to work miracles when they don't have anything to work with. Always keep well documented.

Horrible Attorney
This is the most unskilled attorney I have ever had an experience with. She does not know the law, is easily intimidated by judges as well as other attorneys. She is always late for court, and did not even show up for mediation. Called her office 12 times over a one month period before receiving a return call. Hired her husband, but was given the bait and switch and got stuck with her. Horrible experience. The case was a disaster, and the other side got the very best end of the deal. They didn't even have an attorney. Was told there was no need to be at court, she would handle the paperwork, turns out that was untrue. The other party said she was talking about the case to them and gossiping to them about our side.
