David Windlin Bergquist

I got hit by a drunk driver and it sucked. I didn't know what to do because I'm young but someone told me about Dave so I check him out and ended up taking him on as my attorney. It took a little while but I am happy with what I got so I just wanted to write a review and get the word out there and recommend him.

After a business dispute with my partner I started looking for a business litigation lawyer. My friend referred me to David and I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire him on as my attorney. When talking to him I could tell he was knowledgeable about business law and he helped me better understand the appropriate steps I needed to take in order to get what I deserved. I avoided a long lawsuit and got a great settlement. I would highly recommend David if you have any business disputes you are unsure on how to handle. Great guy would hire him again!

My chiropractor referred me to David after I suffered back pains from an accident I was in. At first the insurance companies weren't willing to pay for my medical expenses, but after Dave came in to help he got them to pay for all of them plus more. He talked me through the process and always answered my questions. He was a great lawyer and would work with him again.

He did an amazing job with handling my personal injury case after my accident. I got the money I deserved for my injuries and couldn't have asked for a better lawyer to walk me through the steps.

My husband was injured on the job and we were getting nowhere with his company or his insurance. A co worker of mine suggested using David and we called him right away. He saw us immediately and took on our case. He was efficient, aggressive, smart, and had great communication. We got well over the amount in a settlement we ever expected to receive.

The guys at Bergquist law firm were GREAT! I was in a bad car accident about a year ago and was getting nowhere with my insurance agents, a friend reccommended these guys and they got me a check and settlement almost immediately. They always answered my questions and were always very helpful. i highly reccommend them if you want a great lawyer who gets results!

I have always been hesitant to contact a lawyer but when the insurance company wasn't giving me what I deserved I went to Dave for a free consultation. He explained the process to me carefully and made me at ease with the idea of hiring a lawyer. I got a great settlement in a good amount of time and would not hesitate to hire Dave again if I ever need a lawyer.

Mr. Bergquist was the most understanding lawyer. He helped my family out when we got into a severe accident. The case was settled in a timely manner, he kept me informed, and I am just thankful that we got what we deserved.

My girlfriend and I were rear ended in a Jetta by a Yukon that was a rental. We went to this firm to settle an UNCONTESTED accident. We were both in physical therapy and in and out of doctors offices for almost a year. At the end of it, they offered me $1000 and my girlfriend $3k. The total settlement amounts were over $30k for mine alone. To date, FOUR YEARS +++ LATER we are still trying to get the remainder of my settlement even after firing them for: "Lack of communication, dishonesty, attempted theft of 99% of the entire settlement award and claiming to have an interest in the final settlement months AFTER they were fired for non performance and basically LYING to me about what amounts I was entitled to receive." We are now communicating with the Department of Justice regarding all these offenses along with, and even more importantly, never presenting me with proper disclosures regarding their F.A.R.A. (Foreign Agent Registration Act) Statements, nor any proof of an existing "Delegation of Authority" which has been requested and to date, is still being ignored.

I've had the worse experience with Bergquist law firm. Currently David Bergquist has my emails in regards to all my grievances with the LACK there of professionalism from Bergquist lawyers including himself. He has NO interest in ACTUALLY addressing them. The amount of discrepancies in my file from Bergquist are very concerning. I hired Bergquist to file claims and any paper work necessary, CORRECTLY. That was Not done. And David doesn't care to make it right. WHY HIRE A LAWYER THAT IS NOT COMPETENT TO DO WHAT YOU HIRED THEM TO DO. They also strung me along for 3 years only to tell me NOW... your case is a "weak" case. WHY WOULD THEY HAVE TAKEN MY CASE, TELLING ME FOR FIRST 2.5 YEARS IT WOULD BE TAKEN TO COURT. I believe that their failure to do their job CORRECTLY and in timely manner hendered my case. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BERGQUIST LAW FIRM TO ANYONE.

2 years on an automobile accident, I was hit from the rear on the beltway. It went to trial, I got a lousy 349.00 check. My case went from New young attorneys to more attorneys. No one seems to know what was going on at any time. I dont think the attorney that represented me, was totally informed of my case after two years. Lost my job, due to Mr. Bergquist telling me it was important to go to my therapy appts. I have been unemployed for over two years now and ended up with nothing!!
