Toni Lynn Thompson Sharretts, is by far the best lawyer that I've ever had! She is a smart and knowledgeable lawyer that really knows what she's doing. She really knows how to read people and knew that i was innocent she had sleepless nights fighting to defend me and proof my innocence, wich she did!... I was wrongfully accused of a serious crime in wich i would of been sentenced a very long time in prison if if i were to been indicted and charged. I feel like she saved me from the mouth of a hungry lion! The lawyer that i had before her told me that I didn't have a stong case and that I might of had to some time but he said that he was gonna make sure that i dint sit in prisson for too long. So i fired him and hired Toni Sharretts and its the best decision that I've ever done in my life because if it wasn't for her I'd be sitting in prison right now. Mrs. Sharretts goes above and beyond the call of duty. She really cared about my situation even when i was in jail and believed me from day one. money was just a technicality to her. i cant say enough about her. I highly recommend Toni to anyone that needs a good, hard-working attorney. I was charged with felony failure to render aid after a kid ran in front of my car. I sat in jail for 3 months with the mother of this child saying I intentionally hit him. I did not. This kid ran out in front of my car wh...ile I was driving the speed limit to go to the grocery after school. When I stopped my car to see what had happened and if I actually hit this teenager, I was threatened by a huge group of men by a convenience store in a bad area of town and my babies were in the car with me. I looked back and the little boy had gotten up and was talking and laughing. I couldn't believe this nightmare. Toni went to the scene, took pictures, showed the boy, his mother and the witnesses were all lying about what happened to get money. Toni presented this to the grand jury and got the case no-billed. I cannot thank her enough for getting me out of this mess. I never expected an attorney to take such care and interest in my case. My court appointed told me I should just plead out to a 3rd degree felony because I could not win. Toni won my case for me.
