Thiessen is the ONLY choice for DWI/DUI Cases

If you're facing a drinking charge, don't shop around, call Mark immediately. Mark Thiessen leaves nothing in the bullpen, he approaches every aspect of a case and tries to visualize angles that the defense may use. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable in the realm of DWI/DUI cases, he's e...xtremely personable and doesn't throw around so much legal jargon that you're head is left spinning after a meeting. Mark will do everything in his power to help you out; his goal is to get you something you're comfortable with and doesn't settle for less. He demands honesty and respect, and returns the favor. Possibly one of his greatest assets is that he's created a reputation and rapport with many colleagues and uses that to his advantage. His confidence can sometimes be a little zealous, but it motivates him at the same time. Being charged with a Felony Intox Assault with a deadly weapon (and looking at 10 years felony probation or 4 years in prison) was a terrifying experience. I was referred to Mark by an attorney friend who had heard him lecture, calling Mark was the best decision I made. Mark fought hard for me; in the midst of a Judge/DA turnover, a summer full of drunk driving cases, and amounting issues with the complaining party, Mark was able to successfully have charges reduced to a misdemeanor DWI and 2 years probation, a feat even the Judge was impressed by. Mark entered as a lawyer, but quickly made it into the ranks of friend. He has my highest recommendation and I will be sending any friends who experience the nightmare of a drunk driving case his way.

Mark Thiessen a outstanding attorney that will fight to the end

Mr. Thiessen fought every step of the way to ensure justice would prevail. Despite all the adversity from the unprofessionalism from the Harris County court two, Mark didn't quit fighting for me. I would highly recommend Mr. Thiessen and his associates to anyone looking for a dedicated and knowledg...eable attorney.

Mark Thiessen is very knowledgeable about his job Mark kept me informed all the time, along with his legal assistant Sophia Mark also is very aggressive lawyer I, myself was very pleased and would recconmend his about any legal case.

Mark Thiessen is a DUI genius.....I seriously doubt there are any better qualified DUI attorneys in Houston.

I am embarrassed to say that I got arrested for DUI (no accidents) on 2 occasions in the last 2 1/2 years. The first one was for .08 BAC and like an idiot, i submitted to the field sobriety test and breathalizer. At that time i engaged a very high profile DUI firm in Houston and they assigned the cas...e to one of their associates, Mark Thiessen. My first instinct was to enter a guily plea due to the extra costs of going to trial. However, Mark convinced me to go forward to trial and the ultimately the case was dismissed just days before trial!! Two years later i got pulled over again and refused the field tests. I was forced to give a blood test by court order and BAC was .10. Obviously i called Mark Thiessen again and now he has his own firm. Once again I was hesitant to go trial due to the extra costs involved and once again Mark convinced me to to go to trial. The day of trial Mark got the case dismissed again!!! I wont go into the details, but what he did was both genius and gutsy. I also have a feeling that the DA's office both loves Mark and fears going to trial against him, given his record of trial experience and continuing education. So for me, Mark Thiessen is "two for two". Perfect batting average and obviolusly i would highly recommend his firm to anyone. I would also advise anyone to follow his advice if and when it is to go to trial. If i would have plead guilty to both of those charges, i would like lbe in jail right now. One bit of advice for anyone who is fortunate enough to get a DUI case dismissed......spend the money to immiediately get the DUI expunged (remove) from your record.

Wonderful Attorney

Mark was great, he is the kind of attorney that you dream of. He and his staff were helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, and very professional. He, along with his team, were there for me in every sense of the word. I truly felt like they cared about me and my well-being. Mark was outstanding in cou...rt, from the jury selection all the way to the closing arguments. He is very smart and was able to challenge the science of the prosecution's expert witness just on cross examination. He has the charisma needed to win over jurors, but also the professionalism needed to maintain the highest of standards. If you want to win your case and you want the peace of mind knowing that you are in good hands, Mark is your guy. He is relentless in his approach and will ensure you are represented fully. I would recommend Mark Thiessen everyday.
