Best DWI defense lawyer in Texas

I hired Mark Thiessen when I received a DWI-2 in a county near Houston. Because of his vast experience, Mr. Thiessen developed a sense about my case during the first phone call. I visited his office for a consultation. At that consultation, Mr. Thiessen promised to set my case for trial immediatel...y because I requested it and he felt I had a defendable case. Sophy is Mr. Thiessen's paralegal. Sophy keeps everything running smoothly. She returned all of my calls promptly. She immediately subpoenaed important documents related to the case. Understand that Mr. Thiessen is a Rockstar in the world of DWI attorneys. When he walked into the courthouse to meet the assistant DA who was prosecuting my case, he was met with astonishment and admiration. Every DA knows Mr. Thiessen. They know his outstanding reputation and track record. DA's are intimidated by Mr. Thiessen. DA's do not want to go to trial against him. Mr. Thiessen runs a very professional practice. I paid my fees on time and Mr. Thiessen did everything he promised. CASE DISMISSED! No trial. The case was dismissed earlier than anticipated. Don't waste your time with lower priced attorneys. Heaven sent

Mark is the most amazing lawyer! My family & I are incredibly thankful for him & his wife! This case had been one of the most difficult things I’ve had to deal with. Looking at 5-99 years is NO JOKE, but Mark & his team have been with me the entire way. He doesn’t take “no” for an answer. He fights f...or your freedom like he would fight for his own freedom. He’s not a pushover & gets the results he wants for his clients in the court room! We like to call him the White Johnnie Cochran! He puts up a hell of a fight & wont tell you to just plead guilty & take the easy way out! Your freedom is one of the most important things especially when you have Kids. I recommend Mark Thiessen 100% !! He is worth every penny & so much more!! You literally cannot put a price on freedom.

Pre-trial Dismissal

I hired Mark Thiessen to represent me in a DWI charge in another county after reading reviews about him. I was a bit skeptical because my case appeared to be hopeless (my BAC was more than twice the legal limit). He assured me that he would fight for my case regardless of how hopeless it seemed....an...d fight he did! Before even going to trial my case was dismissed. I am forever grateful to him for helping me get my life back on track. In the world of attorneys you need the best on your side. Hire Mark Thiessen to represent you if you want the best.

Brilliant

This review is long overdue! First, I have had 3 DWIs. I learned my lesson after the first but was too stupid the second. When it came to the third my life was over facing years in prison in a county (Montgomery) that is unrelenting in prosecuting dwi's. Mark has been my attorney for all 3 and has a...lways gone way above and beyond the norm in defending a client. He is the sharp dresser indeed which radiates confidence in the courtroom where he is highly respected. And that is ideal for anyone hiring mark because he shows up and I mean literally shows up ready to fight for your life! Bluntly stating this is no bullshit review. I'm telling you he saved my (ass) life by keeping me out of prison 25 to life. Whatever the cost financially believe me pay it! your freedom has no limit. Don't fool yourself with any Texas court because that is one dice game you do not want to play. Mark knows when to hold them and fold them but with me not once did he ever waver. You want to stay out of jail hire mark.

Knows his stuff

Unfortunately I have been arrested twice for DUI, both times I hired Mark. He can be an arrogant son of a gun, but he's an excellent attorney. If you're patient, you have a great chance of a dismissal. We got lucky the first time...this time I drew the worst judge in Harris Co. so I decided to pl...ead guilty after one month of an interlock and blow schedule. It was awful! I knew I couldn't deal with that for another year or two. He suggested if I wanted to go ahead and plead guilty, that we go the next day when a substitute judge was there. He said I'd just get a fine and one year license suspension, no jail time. He was exactly right! If this happens to you, Mark Thiessen should be your first call.
