Highest Praise for Margie Harris

As a former client of attorney Margie Harris, I want to provide my strongest possible recommendation for her. I commend her not only for obtaining the result I was looking for, but also for the ways she did it. A few examples: 1. She was effectively assertive with my opponent. I had an employment ...dispute where outrageous discriminatory actions were taken against me for a disability that I have, and my opponent tried to intimate me with authority. Margie stopped them in their tracks while maintaining a working relationship with them, which led to obtaining the exact outcome I wanted without even having to go to trial. 2. She is extremely diligent. My case focused on a relatively rare area of employment. Margie took the time to research the unique aspects of the case and defuse the false narratives provided by my opponent. 3. Margie is an outstanding listener. She had outstanding solutions to problems, and when I brought new information to the table, she would adjust our plan to further improve our case. In short, I was threatened with disability-related discrimination by a large and influential authority, which could have done me great professional and personal harm. Margie saved the day with grace, and was a pleasure to work with.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
