I was born and raised in Boerne, Texas. After high school, I served honorably in the United States Navy as a military police officer. I returned home to Texas and attended Texas State University where I majored in English. Eat 'em Up, Cats!! I graduated with the highest honors, summa cum laude, all while serving as a United States Army Reservist.
In between graduating from Texas State University and attending law school, I hiked the Camino de Santiago-Via de la Plata in Spain. I returned home and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law School.
I began my legal career as a prosecutor in Harris County, Texas where I handled all types of misdemeanor and felony cases. Before beginning my own law practice, I was an associate with Tyler Flood & Associates.
