My girlfriend was arrested for Assault on a family member. He was a pleasure to have for an attorney, very nice and caring. He met with 3 witnesses and obtained affidavits stating it didn't happen the way the complaining witness stated. I had an assault case with my father and Dennis worked up and amazing plan to get everything clear. I hired Mr. Powell to represent me on charges that included murder, making terroristic threats, and a firearms charge. The first two attorneys I spoke with told me the best I could hope for was a plea deal with a 20 year minimum. They said the evidence combined with my confession would make it almost... impossible to avoid jail time. I am not a criminal, have a job, and could not visualize myself in jail. Then I hired Dennis. Dennis was very upfront about my case and my chances but he also had some interesting ideas about how to approach the case. Dennis did a fantastic job. He was able to get the confession thrown out as being unreliable given that I was extremely distraught since my wife had just died and her body was in the room where I supposedly confessed. Nobody thought that Dennis' plan to suppress the confession would work, but he put on an excellent demonstration to judge and severely outclassed the prosecutor in a way I had never seen, and I have extensive experience in domestic violence courts. Dennis really had a phenomenal rapport with the judge and all of the court staff that he was really able to leverage to accomplish his objectives. After he got the confession suppressed, Dennis was able to work with the judge to get rest of the charges dismissed! I went from possibly having to spend my life in prison to being able go home in the matter of 6 weeks. Great job, Dennis! I've also used Dennis since the murder case for an unfounded domestic violence charge from my new girlfriend. Dennis was able to get this dismissed as well.
