There are very few attorneys who have extensive experience handling federal criminal cases. I've handled more than 1000 cases in federal courts. Many attorneys claim they have federal experience but actually have handled very few cases (sometimes none). They spend more time on advertising than they spend handling cases. Some of the attorneys who advertise on Avvo and other marketing sites are listed on less than 10 federal cases in the court's computer system. Go to the court's PACER site and enter any attorney's name to see how many cases he or she has actually handled. Be careful about hiring an attorney who spends more time on advertising and marketing than on fighting for clients. Call me for a free consultation about your situation. If I'm not the right attorney for you, I'll provide you with a list of competent, reasonably priced attorneys who may be able to help you.

I wanted to hire David for a federal case. However, after a phone conversation and an in-person meeting, he frankly told me that I was in a good position and that given the risk-reward, it was better to not proceed and not take my money. I was pleasantly surprised. He was very knowledgeable about fed...
