Biography
While being married and raising three terrific children I read an article in the old Houston Post about family law mediation. It was brand new in the 1980's. It made so much sense to me that parents take charge of their futures and not make an often painful situation worse by fighting in Court. So I went to law school with the sole goal of becoming a family law mediator.
I have now mediated over 8400 cases and I still believe strongly in the mediation process. I think our Judges do an excellent job, but at mediation the parties have more control, can be more creative, can keep matters confidential, and usually are much better at following what they themselves have decided.

Great Mediator!
Jane handled my mediation. I found her to be very professional and extremely knowledgeable on family law. She weighed the risks of my case and made me feel very comfortable about the entire process. GREAT JOB
I went in with my husbands lawyer stating to my attorney that we would NO WAY settle today... my husband was asking for a LARGE amount of money and by the time we were done, he settled for less than half and let go of making me pay his attorney fees AND let me keep the stocks and bonds...
