At first she was great! She eventually started not answering our calls or following up on submitting or filing court documents. I lost my children to my ex. The only time we would get a response was when she wanted more money. She even credited one of our payments to another client and emailed u...s asking for the money. I had my receipt from her law firm as well as my credit card statement. Another incident where I felt she dropped the ball, I was not notified that we had a court date and since I did not appear custody was awarded to my ex. Because of her not communicating with me, we lost and the ex won. She has poor communication skills, We were always the one initiating a meeting to get updated status of our case. When we did meet she gave us good encouraging speeches but never came thru on her end.

No communication unless she wanted money. Case was awarded to the plaintiff because Ms. Gilmet did not notify me of a court date and she did not represent me either. In another case, she rescheduled my court date multiple times at the last minute. The divorce was granted by the judge, but Ms. Gilm...et filed the paperwork wrong and the case was dismissed (no divorce). Cost me thousands that I will never get back. And what she put me and my family through is despicable. I don't know how she sleeps at night. Had to spend even more money to hire a reputable lawyer to finalize my divorce.

Hiring Yexenia was a decision I am glad I made. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and works very hard for her clients.
