Biography
Sarah Koong is a second generation American who was raised in Hong Kong and Sugar Land, Texas. Sarah has over 15 years of experience in retail sales and was also a Licensed Banker with one of JPMorgan Chase Bank's busiest branches prior to attending law school.
During her law school career, Sarah had the opportunity to work for the Honorable Judge Michael Wood of the Harris County Probate Court #2 as his judicial intern. Sarah also worked at a Houston-based boutique probate firm where she facilitated in estate distributions to beneficiaries, drafted various estate planning documents for clients' legacy planning and assisted in the representation of clients in various probate matters including guardianship and contested will proceedings and wrongful death litigation.
Sarah is currently working on earning her Certified Estate Planner Certification with the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners (NICEP), an Indiana not-for-profit corporation, and a tax-exempt entity under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(6).
In addition to practicing law, Sarah also enjoys reading, listening to music and spending time with her husband, twin daughters and friends. Sarah is also a Houston Rockets, UH Cougars and Houston Texans fan.
