Ray Vazquez is a former police officer and former Harris County Prosecutor who has worked on hundreds of misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile cases. His trial experience includes charges such as assault family member, evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and manslaughter.
Prior to becoming a Prosecutor with Harris County, Ray served as the Case Manager for the Honorable Melinda Harmon at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Before working at the District Court, Ray served in the United States Marine Corps as a Marine Security Guard and was assigned to the Presidential Security Forces at Camp David. After the Marine Corps, Ray worked as a Police Officer and Emergency Medical Technician.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GUY!
Horrible Counsel! Ray is full of disrespect! Ray continually disregarded and ignored my objections, and preformed like “An Agent of The State” working WITH the prosecution subsequently leading my juvenile Son to an adult prison sentence!

Top Notch Lawyer
From the very first consultation, I was very impressed with Mr. Raymundo Jose Vazquez (Ray) and his performance / knowledge of the law continued to impress me from there on. I remember feeling the need to tell him how more than satisfied I was in the weeks leading to trial; he had a game plan and hi...
Thank you for your trust Jared. I'm glad it worked it worked out the way it did.

Dismiss unlawful carry case
Ray is good and knows the system. Good attorney, very knowledgeable on my case and after seeing the cops video he knew the case was won.
Glad your case worked out the way it did.

Caught the cops in a lie
Its tragic that cops feel a need to lie....in this case with no apparent reason except to bolster his huge ego....but Ray caught him...caught him red handed!!!
You left out the worst part, how this impacted your life for so long. All because he didn't want to tell the truth. The lack of videos was a huge red flag. Glad we finally got the correct result on these cases.
