I call her the shark!!

After 27 years of marriage I thought we could end it with class. However my soon to be ex did not want a divorce. As a result he did his best to stall. My secret weapon was Mary!! She advised me on how to protect myself and daughter financially plus she new how to work the system allowing the divor...ce to finalize just 6 months after I filed. I could e-mail her anytime of day and she or her assistant would respond within 24 hours. Worth every penny!!!

Child custody mediation

My family has utilized Mary Van Orman's expertise in the matter of amending child custody agreements and having previous arrangements reversed in the best interest of my grandchildren. She is brilliant in her field, aggressive when needed and always assertive. We found her to be caring and forthrig...ht. She arranged mediation for us that helped us to avoid a trial but gave a positive outcome for my grandchildren. We have consulted with her many times before the case on divorce, child custody, child abuse and neglect. CPS had been notified but it wasn't until Mary got involved that things started to change for the better. We have since continued to confer with her matters that involve visitation with the other parent. I would recommend Mary Van Orman and have done so. Our relationship with Mary Van Orman as an attorney or consultant has been ongoing for approximately 20 years. I wouldn't hesitate to retain her again. Thank you, a very grateful grandmother.

Mary is top-notch!

Mary was recommended to me by a friend who is also a lawyer. I can say up front that Mary is a top-notch lawyer AND she's extremely honest and ethical. From the initial consultation with Mary, she was very up front about what to expect (during the process and the expected outcome) and what the fees w...ould be for her services. I think it's important to note that Mary will not B.S. you. She will not take your money and tell you what you want to hear. She is a straight-shooter and will tell you like it is - whether you like it or not. Personally, I appreciate that honesty as I was going through one of the most stressful times in my life. Throughout the entire process, Mary was amazing! She provided much needed guidance and compassion to me and my children. She got me through my divorce, and her main focus during every part of the case was what was best for my children. The opposing counsel in my case was less than ethical, but Mary continued through the process doing things "the right way," which I appreciated and admired. If you want the best lawyer in the area who will do everything in her power to help you, I would STRONGLY recommend Mary.

Best Attorney in Texas!!!

Mary is the most passionate attorney that truly cares about her clients. She is dedicated, professional and no matter her work load, she makes you feel as though your case is her only one! I always felt as though I was in good hands with Mary. She calmed me down and supported me before, during ...and after my case. I would HIGHLY recommend Mary as an attorney for any child custody/divorce case. I trusted Mary with what matters the most to me, my children, and she handled the case as if my children were her own!

Excellent Family Lawyer

I have used Mary several times over the past 20 years, in divorce, child support, modifications, etc. She is the best attorney I have every had. Being a former NBA player, I was a handfull for Mary, but she always acted in the best interests of my family.
