The best out there. Thank you JJ..

Hello all. I am writing this to appreciate Jonathan's help in my DWI case. I recently got arrested for a DWI. My BAC was twice the legal limit. Once I got out of jail, I started looking for lawyers and talked to around 6-8 of them. JJ, of course, was one of them. I knew I had to hire him right after ...the first time we talked over phone. He was very polite, respectful and at the same time practical and realistic. He got onto the case right from the very moment I hired him and explained to me evry step in detail. Very prompt in answering calls and texting back. He has good rapport with the people in the court which always helps. He fought for my case and got me the best possible outcome. Also, I had visa issues and he took care of them too. He defends you at all costs. Initially, when I was totally depressed and panicked, he took time to talk to me and help me get rid of my concerns but without making any false assurances. His court room manners are impeccable. One of the nicest people I ever met. I will always remember him for what he has done to me. Thank you JJ. You are the best.

The Moral Filled Saul Goodman

Mr. Paull....where do I start He has represented me in two different cases both pro bono due to my status of being a disabled veteran. He is a huge supporter of Veterans and I highly recommend him to any Veteran that finds themselves caught up in any aspect of the legal system as he can help or di...rect to someone who can help. I served multiple tours overseas and have a 100% diagnosis for PTSD from the VA and most recently I relapsed into cocaine use and was detained by Webster PD for possession of a CS of less than a gram. I immediately reached out to Mr. Paull and he hopped on immediately as we have a prior history from Galveston County where he was able to plead a DWI for me from DWI 1 to Obstruction of a Highway Passageway....thus saving me a DWI conviction. Fast forward....I'm facing a felony and it's a grim reality and I feel my life is over. He assured me over and over he'd do everything in his power to give me another chance at life and to give life another go. Well we transferred from the 177th Criminal Court to the Veterans Court under the Honorable Marc Carter who is an Honorable Advocate for Veterans and a great man. Mr. Paull once in this court was able to negotiate a Pre Trial Diversion for me once in this court upon completion of the Vet Court program. Basically, a dismissal of the charge and a 2nd chance at life as he promised. He is the best attorney I have ever dealt with and has not only counseled me legally but also personally when I felt all was lost. If you want an attorney who not only cares about your case but also YOU, then Mr. Paull is your choice. He's the best simply said. Thank you Mr. Paull.

Disappointed

I actually had another lawyer tell me I needed to write this review after he looked my case over and confirmed that Mr. Paull did absolutely nothing for me and I have a right to be mad. And yes, I am writing this anonymously as I am still dealing with the case. But be warned; Mr. Paull talks really B...IG but never follows through with any of it! He will tell you he's going to do so many different things for you but in the end never does. He is difficult to get in touch with, and never knows the case until he walks in court which is the only time you'll see him. He told me so many different things that he was going to do that the cops would have to prove, but he NEVER did them! When I would ask about these things he would pretty much brush me off and then bring up other things that would confuse me. Then I was rushed to "settle" after only 5 months, being led to believe that I was getting a "good deal", only to find out later that it was just the standard deal that the court gives. And he never even went to the ALR hearing! What a joke! Be warned: he just takes your money and doesn't do anything for you! If you need a good lawyer, look elsewhere.

This Review is false. In this business you make enemies. I am a lawyer, I have pissed off a lot of prosecutors and in my time. Furthermore, about 2 months ago I got 2 accident involved DWIs dismissed. These dismissals severely limited the financial claims of the individuals who were in the accident as a result of colliding with my clients. As one can imagine there are many reasons someone who has it out for you would post a false review. Here is why I know it is false. My secretary went back and checked if I missed any ALR hearings as the reviewer claims. There are no missed hearings. Furthermore had I missed a hearing and charged a client for it, I could be reported to the State Bar. I have a spotless record as far as the State Bar, with no reports of misconduct according to AVVO. The Internet is a dangerous place for those of us who dare to stand up and make waves.

Unreliable

Mr. Paull represented me on a DWI 3rd case in 2011. He showed up late to court regularly, to the extent that on one occassion the judge had me leave her courtroom to call him. He was elusive about discussing the details of my case and appeared to show little interest in the process or the outcome. He... typically did not return phone calls and would only meet face-to-face with me just before a court hearing. He did not discuss the implications of an assessment that he advised me to consent to, which resulted in the judge adding six-months incarceration in a treatment facility to my probation terms. Upon my conviction, he vanished, not responding to my wife's attempts to contact him while I was incarcerated.

This guy failed to mention that he had 6 prior dwi arrests and 4 prior dwi convictions. It was plead as a DWI 3rd, I got him a 4 year probation instead of prison for what was actually his 5th DWI.
