Counsel Swisher is what you would say,..."Worth her weight in gold" . This is a slightly different perspective as my Fiance was in need of advice regarding a matter related to a due process hearing. Cheryl Swisher offered exceptional advice and we were grateful for it. We understood her normal prac...tice was criminal defense and our matter was not. Not too long after she provided that great advice we hired her when that particular matter became one of a criminal nature. It was a long, 1 year process due to the court's back log and case load. Never once, did we fret or feel like she stranded us. She was always communicative, professional, honest, courteous and informative. She helped us through a very dark period and landed us an agreement that avoided financial ruin, a custody disaster and put our minds at ease and allowed us to get back to our normal life, uninterrupted. C.L. Swisher- Ethics. Strategy. Integrity. Results!

I filed for my divorce in June of 2019 with no legal representation. I was getting nowhere in terms of seeing my children or regaining a sense of self (easy to lose this in these situations) or any type of peace of mind. Ms. Swisher was referred to me by a family member and that referral alone has do...ne more to change the trajectory of my life in the past 2-3 years than anything else. From the opposing party keeping the children from me unjustly, withdrawing them from school and moving to another city, creating false CPS claims, not showing up to any court hearings, dealing with an unethical opposing counsel, having a child with another man, refusing to obey court orders and multiple attempts at provocation, Cheryl Swisher stood strong, remained dedicated to me, my children and most importantly..she stood for what’s right and fair. She broke everything down clearly and told it like it was. When she explained the possibilities of things becoming more ugly from the other side, she always had a countermeasure in place. One of the biggest countermeasures was bringing in an amicus attorney. This move alone was a game changer! This speaks of the confidence she has in what she is doing. Bringing in an attorney that is not for me or the mother, but sole purpose is for WHAT’S IN THE CHILDREN’S BEST INTEREST spoke volumes to me about how she cared for the welfare of my children. Although the case is still in progress, things will be wrapping up soon. Divorces can be tricky and be hard on everyone involved directly and indirectly. During this time, I’ve had many great milestones during a challenging time. Reconnection with my daughters, reestablishing our relationship and growing it by the day, consistent visitation, support orders in place and back to celebrating birthdays, holidays and other activities that we missed out on for a year. And I knew once my daughter expressed to me that she knows that she has two parents who love her, I knew it is all going to be worth it in the end!! Ms. Swisher has worked with me financially, has given great counsel to people I’ve referred to and has been the ally and advocate I’ve needed during this whole process. Forever grateful for her!

Parental Modification

Mrs. Swisher helped me get the best results from my modifications to parental rights. She was hired for a custody battle and after some determination, I decided to modify my overal rights in detail. The outcome was fantastic and although we were ready to go to the end I wanted to just be able to have... part in my sons life. I would highly recommend her and hopefully hate to rehire for further service in this matter I certainly would use again!

CPS Child Custody

I retained Ms. Swisher for a CPS Child Custody case. Let me be clear in saying that this suit was a tremendously hard goal to accomplish. I had all but lost my rights to my daughter. I had very little visitation rights and nothing else relating to my daughter. I contacted Ms. Swisher and she met with... me within 24 hours. Within 1 week, I had a hearing date. She worked my case as if it were her own. To say that she did it professionally, expeditiously, and caringly doesn't do the work, that this attorney did, true justice. Just a few months later, I was given Sole Conservatorship of my daughter. She worked tirelessly and diligently through my extremely complicated case.
