I graduated from Vanderbilt University (B.A.) and Baylor Law School. I'm a former prosecutor and love being in the courtroom. This job is a good fit for me because I believe we have a duty to take care of each other and the world we live in.

Being arrested or charged with a crime is a stressful time, especially if it is your first experience with the criminal justice system. Each client has his or her own concerns and priorities. We will work to find a solution that best meets the needs of your case— whether that means challenging the legal grounds for your charge, resolving the case quickly with as light a punishment as possible, or presenting the evidence in a trial. You have the right to a fair trial where prosecutors must prove all elements of every charge, beyond a reasonable doubt.

I know that good people can make mistakes and false accusations are often made. There is a lot at stake and you deserve to be treated with dignity and care. I understand that a criminal record will follow you as you make your way in life--it’s necessary to keep that record as clean as possible in order to have all doors open in the future.

I'll advocate for you at pre-trial. If a resolution can’t be reached, we will leave no stone unturned in preparing the best defense. When I’m working as your lawyer, you will be more than a case file or number in the system. I will patiently answer your questions and return your calls.

Caring and Knowledgeable
I hired Miss Parker for my son. She has gone above and beyond her duties. She's down to earth and very caring. She always keeps in touch with you and is happy to answer all of your questions. She is the best! Very professional and concerned at the same time. She definitely knows what she's doing. If you need help, I highly recommend her!

Was extremely crucial to my case
I met Kristen because the attorney I had originally hired ended up passing my case off onto her. Although it was pitched to me as having "2 attorneys for the price of one," Kristen ended up essentially handling every aspect of my case herself, and I am truly so very appreciative for what she was able to help me accomplish. I was arrested for a 1st-time DWI offense in McLennan County, Texas. After reviewing the evidence of my case, we determined my best route was to try to apply to the Pre-Trial Intervention program (PTIP). Kristen worked with me to help fine-tune my entry letter, as well as helped me determine the best people in my life that I should reach out to to ask if they'd write a character reference letter on my behalf. I ended up getting accepted into the program, and Kristen was by my side at the court house walking me through the registration process. She answered all my questions and helped me understand every fine detail of how PTIP works and what is expected. On one occasion, I was on a business trip, but ended up being scheduled to take a random UA (urinary analysis). I was not able to take the UA due to the time constraints of my work trip, along with the fact that I was out-of-state, so Kristen advised me on the proper steps I should take in explaining the circumstances to the court. Thankfully, with Kristen's counsel, I was able to get through that situation. On another occasion, there was an unfortunate incident where I technically violated an aspect of PTIP. It was a giant misunderstanding, and Kristen was so very helpful and reassuring in helping me to properly explain to the court the circumstances of the incident. Again, with her counsel, I was able to get through the situation, and am proud to say that I successfully completed the program in 15 months (which was actually 3 months early, as I had to relocate for work, and it was originally supposed to be an 18 month program). In the end, Kristen's involvement in my case proved to be absolutely crucial. I knew I could rely on her at every step, and that she was always a phone call or text away if I ever had any questions. She was always accessible, had a great attitude, and consistently provided me with sound, common sense advice. It's very clear she knows the law inside and out, and is very passionate about what she does. I would absolutely highly recommend Kristen Parker for those who are looking for DWI defense, and I have no doubt her areas of expertise are far wider than just DWI's. I can't thank her enough for her kindness and professionalism.

VERY HELPFUL
She is Very helpful. I had questions regard a court date on my citation but the attorney (at a different practice) handling my case was on vacation. She patiently listened to my concerns, made a couple calls, and called me back with the answers the SAME DAY. What A RELIEF! Thank you So Much for giving me some relief regarding this whole stressful mess.

Restored my faith in the Criminal Justice System!!!
The first time I met Miss Parker, I was impressed with her confident presence. She was quite personable and down-to-earth. She listened intently and patiently to what I had to say with no interruption. Miss Parker was always informative, extremely knowledgeable and competent in handling all my questions and demands. Before meeting Miss Parker, my hope with due process had disappeared. I felt as if no one cared and as if there was no one to help me. I needed an Attorney who would put my legal needs first and someone who was approachable and reachable. I had already fired two previous Defense Lawyers for incompetence but Miss Parker quickly restored my faith in the Legal system. After our first consultation, I realized immediately that she really loves her job and really cares about her clients. She's upfront, honest and only wants the best outcome for her clients. I hired her before I left. That 1 hour drive to Waco was the best decision and trip that I ever made. It was life changing. LITERALLY!!! She always returned my phone calls, Texts and emails in a timely manner. Sometimes almost immediately depending on her busy schedule. She dealt with the Prosecutor with confidence and the most upmost personal courage I’ve ever seen. She was NOT intimidated like my two previous Lawyers were. With her, there were no political games. This toughness enabled her to accomplish what my two previous attorneys could not. Lets just say that I’m happy with the results and final disposition of my case. She was able to get to the real and FACTUAL truth and not what the prosecutor wanted the truth to be. Should I ever need an Attorney ever again, Miss Parker will be the first call I make. So I recommend her to anybody who needs legal assistance and a dedicated attorney who will always do the right thing, the right way for the right reason. Thank you Miss Parker for your hard work and dedication in handling my legal needs. Tim
