Worst lawyer you can possibly hire. Took my money and start ghosting me. I should have done me research because I found out it’s what she does. She told me my divorce was filed and after calling the court a month later, I found out that she never filed it. It took her days to respond to texts mes...sages and weeks to emails. DO NOT HIRE HER FOR ANYTHING. If there was a Zero rating, that’s what I would have given her.

I hired this lawyer, I was a struggling single parent trying to win a custody battle. I paid her in FULL, my first mistake. She only returns phone calls when there is payment to be made. All other concerns are the least of her worries. Her turn around time for call backs, emails, or submitting paperw...ork is almost obsolete. There is never any staff at her office. The staff that answers the phone, does not return calls, I had my final hearing rescheduled twice, and it took months to even get it schedule due to so many of McDermed excuses. I have been waiting since April 2019 for my final court paper orders. Final hearing is done, judge has decided what custody arrangements there will be, BUT I do not have final orders that were to be written up by McDermed. I have emailed and emailed, called her cell phone an Office. NO response. Do not make the same mistake.

I paid this woman 1000 dollars to try and get my citation lowered or thrown out. She barely filed the appeal, said she emailed me when she didn't, and now won't respond about a court date I had may 30th. Do yourself a favor and run as far as you can from this woman, she's a thief and will just take y...our money and run.

Consulted and hired this attorney to deal with an emergency custody situation. She agreed to work with us on payments given the situation we discussed with her, she laid out a plan to get papers filed and get things going to take care of the children in the case. Sent paperwork to get filled out to a...ccompany the court motion, then says she would file it the following Monday. When we asked for an update, she would always say she's waiting on a signature or something. We would call the office, no one would ever answer, we would call her cell it would always go straight to voicemail. We were lucky if we got a reply. We learned a few weeks later she still has not filed the papers she said she did. Everything goes south, but then mysteriously after she learns what happened, the paperwork gets filed. The only reason why anything got filed is that she knew she was caught and trying to cover her tracks. Do Not Hire This Attorney! She has an office she is never at and there is never anyone there during business hours, she has a calling service for her office number it's not direct to office number, none of the contact information on her website is accurate to where you will get a reply within a reasonable amount of time, she almost never returns calls, always has an excuse on why she is always late or not doing what she promised she will do.
