Hollis C. Lewis Jr.

I used him in 2005 for a charge from my then husband. After MANY MANY run arounds the final day we went the the court house, he pulled me aside asked me how much I would pay him if he can "walk in there right now" and get the charges dismissed. I ended up giving him a check. He went in "there" for ab...out an hour, came out said " charges dismissed"! With everything that went on with him, I knew something was fishy. I went to the clerk, she looked up my record and the charges were dismissed 2 weeks before! He is so terrible! I am surprised he is still practicing!

Not sure I'd ever want to use Mr. Lewis again, even for a consultation. During my conversation with him, he strayed from my original question and then told me I was my own worst enemy. Not something very professional or a good way to speak to someone who is stressed and needs help. He's been in th...e Milam County area for many years, therefore knows everybody and naturally he has good contacts regarding small-town politics, but that may be a plus or a minus depending on your case. I try to be a careful person, and overall I don't think I'd bother to use Mr. Lewis again. Some of the other reviews seem to feel the same way.

Stay Away!!! Went with Hollis because he is a long-time family friend. Giant Mistake! He put forth NO effort after taking my deposit and was so unprepared for our hearing that I gave into my ex and canceled the hearing. Then, when I asked for a partial refund, it took him over a year and me calling... the state board to even get a bill! A bill that has made up and inflated charges so that he can keep all my money! I have known Hollis all my life and I cant believe he would do his worst enemy this way.

We've been using Hollis Lewis since Dec. of 2013. I know many people in the Milam county area, who have used him as well. That's originally why we went to him in the beginning. I actually am using him at the moment for a termination or rights case, adoption and have recently used him to drop a pendi...ng child support case on the other party. Mr.Lewis has stuck by his word, he's very encouraging, very motivated, and understanding. I highly recommend him to all my friends, family and even strangers!
