I used him in 2005 for a charge from my then husband. After MANY MANY run arounds the final day we went the the court house, he pulled me aside asked me how much I would pay him if he can "walk in there right now" and get the charges dismissed. I ended up giving him a check. He went in "there" for ab...out an hour, came out said " charges dismissed"! With everything that went on with him, I knew something was fishy. I went to the clerk, she looked up my record and the charges were dismissed 2 weeks before! He is so terrible! I am surprised he is still practicing!

Stay Away!!! Went with Hollis because he is a long-time family friend. Giant Mistake! He put forth NO effort after taking my deposit and was so unprepared for our hearing that I gave into my ex and canceled the hearing. Then, when I asked for a partial refund, it took him over a year and me calling... the state board to even get a bill! A bill that has made up and inflated charges so that he can keep all my money! I have known Hollis all my life and I cant believe he would do his worst enemy this way.

Retained Mr Lewis to settle a real estate issue. It took him TWO weeks to inform me that he had already spoken to the other party and would have to get permission from them to represent me, which I get. Aftter I gave him my list of what I wanted, it took him another three weeks of phone calls with hi...m telling me what the other party wanted and me reminding him that he was working for ME, and he needed to do what I wanted. After another vacation by him, he took two in the eight weeks I dealt with him, he called and informed me that he needed more money because he had to come work on Saturday to finish my paperwork. He is the.most unprofessional lawyer I have ever dealt with. All he seemed to care about was getting more money out of me. He stretched a week long issue into two monthe

I hired Hollis Lewis to help with a child support case. He quoted me a price for his services which I paid that day. He didnt do anything he said he would do. He was supposed to have the other party server because she wasn't showing up to court. He never had her served so my case was reset 3 times. T...hen he tells me I owe him more money because hes been to court 3 times. He is very rude and arrogant. I fired him and resolved the case myself. He didn't for fill his obligations as my lawyer so I asked for a refund. Which he also refused. When I told him he was fired he went to the other party in my case and told her she wasnt getting a good deal and she should get a lawyer. That was before the judge remover him from my case. Thats misconduct! So do your self a favor. Do not hire this lawyer.
