I wish I could give zero stars

This slime was hired to represent my son. The only thing he has done is keep postponing his court date. He does nothing for his clients. Look at his AVVO score listed at the top of this page. It’s warning you to use caution when hiring this man. Wish I saw this score before we hired him. This is a sc...ore that is not paid for or based off of reviews. This is based off his ethics with clients. If that doesn’t tell you something then I don’t know what will. Research before you hire him.

Inconsiderate

I had the unfortunate experience of having to be at a local day spa the same evening Magana was there and he was the most inconsiderate person I’ve ever experienced in a day spa. I can’t speak on his attorney skills or lack thereof but as a general citizen, he lacks common decency. He made sure every...one in this business knew who he was and was extremely loud from the moment I walked in the door. He took every work related phone call that he got, speaking publicly about someone’s recent incarceration. So I suggest if you hire him, don’t expect your business to be confidential. He made the entire experience very unpleasant to several customers and all of us complained. Do better, Magana. The quiet room is called the QUIET ROOM for a reason.

Don’t form your Judgement by others opinion

Mr. Magana was court appointed for my nephew. When people found out who we had as an attorney they begin to tell me how bad he was, how all he wanted was money and didn’t do anything for their case. Needless to say I was skeptical going in… although a very busy man Mr. Magana was passionate, caring ...and did what he said he was going to do! He may text you and say 32 min or when he walks by you he may give you a one min sign, his voice mail may be full or he may not return your call as soon as you want, but if Michael says imma get him out you better believe he’s a man of his word! We had the honor of watching Michael work at the court, he ran from one end to the other while on the phone with a client and being stopped by clients asking when are you getting to me. After that long day in court he would then go to his office after 5pm and see upwards to 20 people. Mr. Magana told us guys I’m going to get him out and after only two weeks he did Dec. 22, 2021 a Christmas miracle. My advice is not to listen to others, form your own opinion because ever case is different. But if Michael Magana says he’s going to do it I assure you that he will. How many attorneys will give you their personal cell phone number and let you blow their phone up and text them 24/7 and when you see them greet you with compassion and a smile. If I hadn’t t been a part of my nephews case I would have never gotten to meet a really good man, on behalf of my nephew, my family and myself… Thank you Mr. Magana with all our hearts.

DO NOT HIRE !!!!!!

My family hired Magana for my husband. He talked to us stating what he could do for as getting him out. My husband was unlawfully accused of robbery, and evading arrest. Magana (promised) to bond him out multiple times which I already gave him the money to do so . Also I paid attorney fees. The whole... time it stated he couldn’t get bonded out. But he told us he could. There where days he said my husband was being released and I slept outside the jail house just to find out he was lying. I tried calling him and he ignored my calls. He told my husband not to speak at his sentencing day because he feel like he will make it worse. Magana was not organized. He called me my daughter name on the stand and he barely fought for my husband case. Leading him to be sentence for 10years. My overall experience with Magana was life changing. Lawyers are suppose to make you feel at ease. I felt like I was hanging onto a fence the whole time. I asked for a refund and he found ways to not give you a refund back.
