Hello if you are interested in this Law office they are not consistent with cases. For 2 years now I have been being extorted, deceived, non-verbal, requests money for bail which totaled to (over $18,000). I’m sitting still waiting for my “lawyer” to get me out and back home. I don’t have a charge in... the system I need someone to let him know he’s a con artist. His assistant who answers (254)-493-0480. This law firm is unprofessional and isn’t reliable for us humans who pay for the service. This guy has bribed and lied to my 20 yr old daughter to receive money but lie about details to ruin my life. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the legal representation provided by Mr. Michael Magana, whom I engaged for my case. Unfortunately, my experience with Mr. Magana has been highly unsatisfactory, and I feel compelled to bring the following concerns to your attention. Lack of Commu...nication: Despite multiple attempts to communicate with Mr. Magana, I encountered significant challenges in reaching him directly. He did not return calls, and I was often left in the dark regarding the progress of my case. Failure to Follow Up with the Courts: The lack of responsiveness extended to Mr. Magana's failure to follow up with the courts to reschedule proceedings. This neglect had a detrimental impact on the progression of my case. Acceptance of Guilty Plea without Consultation: I am deeply troubled by the fact that Mr. Magana accepted a guilty plea on my behalf without proper consultation or consideration of alternative legal strategies. This decision was made without adequately exploring the nuances of my case, and it appears to have been a hasty attempt to expedite the process. Excessive Fees for Inadequate Service: Despite the subpar level of service provided, Mr. Magana charged me a substantial amount of money. I find it unacceptable to have paid such fees for legal representation that was not only ineffective but, in my view, negligent. Previous Reprementation for Similar Issues: It has come to my attention that Mr. Magana has faced disciplinary action in the past for similar concerns related to accepting payment without fulfilling his professional obligations to clients. Given these circumstances, I felt it was imperative to bring these matters to your attention. I believe that Mr. Magana's conduct raises serious ethical and professional concerns, and I hope that appropriate steps will be taken to address these issues.

Hired Michael Magana December 2021 for my son. So many lies! He has not did anything promised. My son is still sitting in jail, mike has only seen him once, keeps saying he’s going to bond him out but has not, does not know anything about my son’s case when asked, keeps having us travel to Texas whic...h is not cheap expecting to bond him out and he does not, is NEVER available, never returns calls but will send u the infamous “20mins in court” text, will take your money and do absolutely nothing, and will not give a D$&@ about your case. What he’s good at is: Taking your money, telling lies, not doing what he promised, having his secretaries (family members) be rude and lie to you as well, and sending that court text! You’ve been warned… seriously! Save yourself the time, money, and worries….. find another lawyer! Don’t make the mistake many of us have made. Do some investigation on him… you’ll find out a lot more about his practices and why he thinks he’s big S$&@ in Bell county…. Especially when u go to court and people that work there are walking up to him with rent checks.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to be at a local day spa the same evening Magana was there and he was the most inconsiderate person I’ve ever experienced in a day spa. I can’t speak on his attorney skills or lack thereof but as a general citizen, he lacks common decency. He made sure every...one in this business knew who he was and was extremely loud from the moment I walked in the door. He took every work related phone call that he got, speaking publicly about someone’s recent incarceration. So I suggest if you hire him, don’t expect your business to be confidential. He made the entire experience very unpleasant to several customers and all of us complained. Do better, Magana. The quiet room is called the QUIET ROOM for a reason.

This guy is my son's lawyer assigned by the county. My son was arrested for parole violation last year in March before Covid shutdown, He has seen this lawyer once for 10 mins. And has never seen a judge since he was arrested. Mr Magana never returns phone calls or text messages. It's now May 2021 a...nd my son still has seen a judge.
