Michael James Magana

My family hired Magana for my husband. He talked to us stating what he could do for as getting him out. My husband was unlawfully accused of robbery, and evading arrest. Magana (promised) to bond him out multiple times which I already gave him the money to do so . Also I paid attorney fees. The whole... time it stated he couldn’t get bonded out. But he told us he could. There where days he said my husband was being released and I slept outside the jail house just to find out he was lying. I tried calling him and he ignored my calls. He told my husband not to speak at his sentencing day because he feel like he will make it worse. Magana was not organized. He called me my daughter name on the stand and he barely fought for my husband case. Leading him to be sentence for 10years. My overall experience with Magana was life changing. Lawyers are suppose to make you feel at ease. I felt like I was hanging onto a fence the whole time. I asked for a refund and he found ways to not give you a refund back.

Michael Magana was hired by my family for my brother for a felony charge in which he was unlawfully accused of. It was a slam dunk on who really committed the crime. He cashed every single check that was ever written to him, almost immediately, but he didn’t or wouldn’t work for my brother. He joked all the time...street talk. My boys kinda talk, and that was annoying. We live in a different stage, and though we were paying him for my brother, he wouldn’t return phone calls or text messages. Magana convinces is that my brother should plead guilty, and lied to us on the benefits of doing so. That resulted in a seven year conviction. Magana is unprofessional, dishonest, and not a hard worker for his clients.
