David Knight is a LIAR

AVOID! I attempted to hire David Knight to represent me in a child support/custody issue. I provided a $300 initial retainer fee plus paperwork; however, his office contacted me to advise that they could not move forward without having additional information. Meanwhile, I couldn't get a continuation ...so I represented myself pro se in court. When I contacted his office to refund the $300 fee since no work was ever done on my case, Knight refused to refund the fee. Since I no longer needed his assistance, there was no reason for me to provide the additional requested data. Following my attempt to get the refund, Knight was subsequently disbarred by the Oklahoma Bar Association for bad conduct. AVOID!

HORRIBLE!!!!

I hired David W. Knight for a simple matter because he was recommend by a friend. That was the worst choice i've ever made! After 8 months of him sitting on his but we FINALLY went to court only to find out he filed the paperwork wrong. He since has not done anything with my case nor tried to contac...t me to fix it! He was the biggest waste of money! I would recommend anyone over David! If negative stars were available that is what he would be getting

Child custody

I am very disappointed with this lawyer . When I first saw him 1 year ago , I had a child who I have taken care of all his life . I had him on a safety plan with Cps over a year . I went to mr knight for help . I didn't have a lot of money , and he gave me a price of 2000. He set my hopes high by tel...ling me I had a good chance of custody , because I had him a year . Cps was closing the case so he said he would act fast . I rushed to get him 1200 dollars . I waited a couple weeks still nothing from him . I went to his office and he thought I was a divorce case . The next day I got served by the drug addict mother to go to court to return her child . I called david and he did a counter suit . The whole time he was saying he was gonna get her in court . We get to court then he backs down in front of the other attorney , and tells me I should give him back with visitation . I also had to go fax documents for him , and take documents to the court house to file . I signed a visitation order . Now the mom has run off with him , and he's living with his drug addict grandparents that also have Cps cases against them. I called David again in February 2015 . I had to tell him the whole story over , he didn't remember anything . He told me he would send her attorney an order for a hair follicle and he typed the court order to get her back in court for violation of my visitation . I had to go fax the order at a fed ex , because his fax didn't work . He charged me 500 , and I paid him half since nothing is filed yet . We know what town they're in. , but because we don't have an address he's still not filed . It's 2 months later . I'm firing him , and warning you all . Please do not fall for this guy . He will forget what you tell him , make you process his work and do nothing .
