Avoid David Knight

I started a custody case using David. His office is very dirty, but despite that he gave us a good consultation so we decided to hire him. He convinced us that we needed to file an emergency custody order against the mother of my child. My wife and I trusted his judgment until he called us a few w...eeks later to let us know we didn't have enough for emergency custody so we should settle until the final hearing. We gathered our character witnesses and went to what David had said was our "Best interest of the child" hearing, only to find out it was a temporary custody hearing. David showed up at this hearing late and extremely disheveled. He told us once again that we should settle before proceeding with the hearing because we did not have enough to get temporary custody. Through out this process, he forgot key details of our case. He ran through all of the down payment that we put down yet nothing had been accomplished in our case. He wrote an affidavit that was filled with false information, and I had to take it home and revise it myself before submitting it to a judge. We now have a new lawyer and have basically started over. Please do not even consult with this lawyer, there are far better that might even be cheaper.
