Not Recommending

Did not receive the clarity or direction needed for our current situation. Very expensive consult and we still have no idea on what to do or where to go from here.

Review of Richard Barron

Mr Barron failed to follow my requests in preparation of documents resulting in inaccurate information going into documents. Attempts to have such corrected only resulted in further inaccuries. It was my impression that he does not listen to the client. He also repeatedly "pushed" me to have furth...er legal documents prepared by him when I had told him I did not want such done.

Medicaid Client's Daughter was more interested in spending mom's money on herself and family. Would not follow instructions, and did not hear from her for 4 months, and then wanted us to pickup where we left off, again could not produce the documentation in order to complete Mom's Medicaid application. She and her husband had a problem with the truth and after going through the State Bar of Texas, they lost at every level attempted.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
