Made the process easy

After 20+ years of marriage I hired Mrs. Copeland to handled my divorce with also included minor children. Theresa was very informative and helped me to understand Texas law and the items we did not need to waste time arguing over. She was quick to return my calls and emails. Did a wonderful job of k...eeping me calm. She was great at handing the tougher items with the other lawyer. I would highly recommend her.

Great Lawyer!

Theresa is a very kind, caring, compassionate and personable lawyer. You can have a personal conversation with her and know that she sees you as a human being and not a paycheck, which is why I chose her to be my lawyer. She didn’t allow either of us to be bullied by my ex or his lawyer. She kept... me up to date during the divorce process without nickel and diming me. As for my settlement I had a realistic idea of how I thought the assets in our divorce would be divided and how I wished the assets would be divided. I got my wish! I was truly impressed with my settlement as were my family and friends. I highly recommend Theresa as a divorce attorney.

Best Lawyer, worth every penny!

Theresa is an excellent lawyer. She was very down to earth and very realistic in what was achievable and within the limits of the law. She is compassionate and respectful to my emotions and concerns, but still had the ability to keep me on track and what the ultimate goal was. I had a very unique cas...e and she was able to handle it with care for the benefit of my children and I. She was always prompt at all meetings, phone calls, emails, and court dates. She answered all my questions truthfully and honestly.

Do not waste the money on the consult. She's not on your side.

We called for a 1-hr consultation that cost us $100 which she cut off after 40 minutes because she had another client appointment. We wanted an attorney to represent our concerns with a modification. She spoke down to us the entire phone call like we were trash. Since I have a bachelor's degree and I... am an office manager of a medical practice I was shocked by her rudeness. You could tell she didn't care whether we hired her or not. She kept advising we hire a "private attorney". Clearly she did not mean herself. Her charge for retainer would be $2,500 for a child support modification plus $225/hr in court. For a non- custodial parent that cares and always pays their child support she spoke to me like I was worthless. I am appalled by her entirely.
