Horrible Experience

Anyone who has had trouble with Ryan Wray needs to file a complaint with the State Bar of Texas. There are many clients whose cases were not filed. We were one of them. We almost lost our home, we lost our business and ALMOST lost our cars because our case was not submitted; we had to hire another at...torney who got our cars back within 24 hours. He needs to have his license taken away! He isnt even allowed to be practicing law..failed to tell us he didnt pay his dues!!!

Led us on for almost 2 years in bankruptcy filing

Apparently, a bankruptcy filing is supposed to be quick and easy. Not for us. Ryan took our initial $750 and pretended he filed us (or maybe he did but our case got dismissed because he never followed up). Rarely could we get ahold of him, very inaccessible, and on the occasion that we did, there ...was an excuse to make us feel sorry for him (lost a family member, wife had miscarriage, etc.) If indeed it was true, we felt bad for him but his (former) office confirmed these sob stories were not true. He wanted another $750 and suggested that we use any available credit we had on our credit cards (which thankfully, was none). I suspect he has done this with many others and gotten away with it. Now we are hanging out to dry and having to refile in another state, having to pay an attorney and filing fees all over again, do the whole credit counseling thing, etc. Two years of our lives have been spent in anguish over this. Bankruptcy is humiliating enough as it is.

Nightmare bankuptcy attorney

Ryan took our bankruptcy case, our 1500 dollars, and never filed our case. After finding out that our case had been dismissed, we almost lost our house and car. Luckily we found a great attorney who turned things around for us. We were told by the Chapter 13 Trustee's office that Ryan Wray had a habi...t of not filing client's cases with the Trustee's office. We filed a grievance with the State Bar of Texas and encourage others to do so.

Very good lawyer...highly recommend.

We retained Ryan Wray after we realized that we were no longer able to keep up with our bills. Ryan met with us personally and explained the bankruptcy process at length, always making sure that the details made sense to us. He did not rush us when we asked questions and he listened to the facts of o...ur case before trying to push us into a certain direction (unlike other lawyers I know). The process was sometimes nervewracking, but Ryan and his staff always made themselves available to answer our questions. In short, Ryan is a solid lawyer and treated us like people, not just another numbered client.
