This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Represented me for 10 months -

I fired Paine after 10 months of him resetting. He told the judge I would not listen to his advice, I have filed a complaint with Tx Bar and proceeding with legal action. My case was dismissed by another atty shortly after his dismissal .

I was Mr. Bryant's court appointed lawyer. The trial court granted my motion to withdraw because Mr. Bryant would not listen to me. I had advised Mr. Bryant to sit tight and that I thought this case would be dismissed. His new court appointed lawyer was able to get it didmissed in 4 more months.

Awesome Attorney! Goes the Extra Mile for You!

Henry Paine went above and beyond the call of duty to represent me in a Motion to Revoke Probation case in Denton County and I couldn't have asked for a better attorney. He was responsive, negotiated a very positive outcome for me, and even came in on his day off to finalize things for me. I felt h...e was actually representing ME; meaning he knew who I was, was concerned about getting me the best outcome, and followed through in my best interest unlike some attorneys where you are just a name or number on their case log. I would recommend Henry Paine to anyone that has a criminal case in Denton County; and I have worked with several other attorneys in the past and Mr. Paine is heads above anyone else I've come across.

Grateful for expert help

Hank knows the courts in Denton County. His experience was extremely beneficial to me and my son. It is obvious that he has carefully developed positive relationships with the district attorney, judges and court personnel. He is friendly and took time to console and help with some personal advice.... I was relieved after visiting with Hank on the phone and hearing his input. There were no surprises. Everything went as Hank said it would. I recommend him highly.

Hank Paine - The Texas Tiger!

I would highly recommend attorney Hank Paine to represent anyone accused of a crime. Hank is an expert in criminal defense law with 32 years of experience. Hank represented me in 6 felony cases where I was falsely accused of very serious misconduct and potentially exposed to 25 years or life in pr...ison. Hank took the time to familiarize himself with a factually complex case, engaged his highly competent office staff to assist in my defense, and even hired two private investigators to gather facts, testify if necessary, and expose the truth of my innocence. When the state prosecutors refused to dismiss the false charges, I insisted on exercising my right to a jury trial. Prior to trial, Hank interviewed favorable witnesses, reviewed hours of video and hundreds of pictures and became thoroughly prepared for trial. During the jury trial, Hank was completely familiar with the cases and knew the facts down to the most minor details. His thorough trial preparation enabled Hank to impeach and discredit the lying witnesses completely, often embarrassing them in their lies. Hank did more than impeach and discredit the state's witnesses - he tore them to shreds! Hence, Hank Paine, THE TEXAS TIGER! Hank seems to like a good fight, especially one in which he will emerge the winner. Realizing a win in my case, he fought hard and smart to exercise my rights as a criminal defendant. After only 1-1/2 days of state witness testimony and seeing the injustice of proceeding any further, the state prosecutors dismissed all of the felony charges. Hank Paine is well respected among his peers in the legal community and gets things done in the courthouse. He is board certified in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is familiar with everything from municipal ordinances to federal appellate law. I highly recommend attorney Henry Paine for your smallest to your most serious criminal defense needs. Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
