Mr Ross and his administrative assistant, Ms Gomez, are an incredible legal team. My son was found and charged with possession of drugs marijuana, both cannibus (misdemeanor) and eatable (felony). John worked with the DA in accepting him into first offenders program. This is great news as both charges can and will be dismissed upon my sons successful completion of the first offend...ers program. Following this program John will also assist us in have both expunged from his record. Since my son is 18 and just starting his college career John's work in getting us on the path to expungement is a huge relief as now this error in judgment will not prohibit my son from getting any job/career he desires. Not to mention, John was able to work with us and the courts to make this happen while my son is away at university. In short, John made an incredibly stressful time a little less stressful. He walk us through each step of the way and he and his staff were always available to answer my questions - and there were a lot of them! Thank you John and team!

I had another lawyer ( Tim power) before Mr. Ross, which gave me a good deal and told me your good and ok, after I finish payments and at court I see a different lawyer which knew nothing about my case and told me you are in a lot of trouble ... that day I went and googled the best lawyers and found... When I was arrested for 2nd DWI shortly after moving to Denton County (February. 2013), I did not know what I was going to do to defend myself and did not know any lawyers. My wife and I hired John Ross to help us navigate the Denton court system. We did our research on the internet and based on reviews given here at AVVO we felt confident John would be able to provided competent legal representation. During the initial consultation John said all the right things and... promised us he would fight on our behalf. However, what we received was an apathetic attorney who exerted very little effort towards our case. Additionally, after paying his retainer we had a difficult time contacting John to discuss the progress on our case. In fact, most of our communication was through his secretary Priscilla. By the end of this case we were very irritated by John's lack of familiarity with our case and all the excuses and back tracking he did throughout this process. In the future we will never trust John to handle any legal matters.
