I have been practicing law now for 36 years. I work primarily in chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, guardianship and probate litigation, uncontested guardianship and probate, commercial and civil litigation, appeals, and mediation. I have four grown children, I am a grandma, and own my own business. My practice is generally in the North Texas area.
Much of my spare time and nearly all of my vacation time are spent doing faith based volunteer work in the community and internationally. I have been blessed to be able to use my legal training in my international volunteer work in Africa, which includes training in-country lawyers, judges, military and police, as well as lay persons in biblical justice, restorative justice, biblical forgiveness, and mediation. I also help train women in small business startups and cooperative formation and business planning to help empower them to bring peace and economic stability to their families and communities.
