Biography
Charla Bradshaw is an accomplished board-certified family law attorney and Denton Managing Shareholder. Ms. Bradshaw has earned her reputation as an outstanding litigator. While she employs an aggressive approach to litigating family law cases, Charla Bradshaw also handles collaborative law cases. She is also a well-known speaker and author in the area of family law, business-related family law, and fiduciary litigation as it pertains to family law.
Awarded 2016’s Best Divorce Lawyer by Murray Media’s “Best of Denton County,” Bradshaw has also been listed among the “Best Lawyers in America” since 2011. She has made the list of Texas Super Lawyers®, Texas Monthly Magazine, each year it has been chosen since 2003, she Top 100 Super Lawyers® in Dallas/Fort Worth, 2005, 2014 and 2016, Top 100 Super Lawyers® in Texas, 2014, and one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Texas, 2005, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Bradshaw is past chair of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and is a past chair of the State Bar of Texas District 14 Grievance Committee. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She is also a member of the Texas Family Law Council Legislative Committee, the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, the Denton Bar Association and the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
Charla Bradshaw earned her Bachelor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Texas Woman’s University and her Juris Doctor from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in 1993.
