Happy client!

Genuine, ethical, responsive, effective, trustworthy, understanding, hard working and honest are just a few words to describe Charla and her team at Koons Fuller. I feel so fortunate to have had her as my divorce attorney and could not be happier with the results. Charla is a top notch attorn...ey who handles her clients with care, precision and professionalism. Although divorce cases can some times be a painful stressful process, Charla always made me feel taken care of, protected and informed. I was living in another state at the time and Charla was readily available to talk me through the process, update me on progress and answer any questions in a timely manner. She was helpful and knowledgable and I felt 100% confident that she always had my best interest at heart. It was apparent that Charla puts so much time, energy and heart into every case. I cannot thank her enough for her support and expertise. Highly recommend her!

All Talk No Action

Ms. Bradshaw writes checks her staff can't cash. During consultation, she appears to be extremely aggressive and confident in her staff's ability to close your case in good favor. I utilized her firm for an uncontested divorce that took over 10 months and $17K to obtain the final divorce decree and... the divorce settlement is still unresolved. Phone calls and emails went weeks without response and when I did get a response, I would have to repeat information already provided. Billing practices are unreasonable, my account was billed when the firm fielded a phone call from my ex-spouse's girlfriend who was inquiring about the status of the divorce. That's outrageous! Needless to say, I would not recommend this firm.

Regret

Hired Charla Bradshaw, she came across knowledgeable, organized & aggressive. Presented herself to "win" the case, including mediation with only the initial retainer. BIG talk, ZERO results. Many months & $8k later, nothing had been accomplished. $8k to review emails and phone calls to ask me questio...ns I had already answered. Mediation had to be moved 3 times because it would not work with her schedule. Then it was cancelled by opposing counsel the week prior with reason stated as they had not received their requested paperwork from Charla. I was still billed for mediation. Took several e-mails & calls to get that money back into my trust. All which they billed me for. Fired her after her office stated she would not be available to speak with me for 2 weeks regarding my concern for a request for an additional $8k. Her paralegal, Stephanie, is ineffective in communication, as she appears instructed to not answer even the simplest question. New attorney reached a settlement in TWO weeks. I strongly regret my time and money spent with Charla Bradshaw.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
