Lauren is licensed to practice law in Texas. She is admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of Texas. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the American Bar Association (ABA), and the Tarrant County and Dallas Bar Associations.
Descended from Cuban immigrants, Lauren was born in Dallas. She has also lived in the San Antonio, Houston, Austin and Fort Lauderdale, Florida areas.
Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys reading and is committed to community service. She has obtained the Girl Scout Silver Award for her dedication to service. Her volunteer work has included: educating children of opportunities for higher learning; caring for animals at the Dallas Humane Society; packaging Bible study materials for use in prisons; working with Habitat for Humanity; and Pro Bono work with the Dallas District Attorney’s Office in the Family Violence Division.
