Perfect for what my needs were

I hired a Max as my lawyer for a divorce case in Texas and I live in South Dakota. Max was very understanding and accommodating considering I was in a different part of the country than him. Max listened to what I had to say and what I wanted/needed. Max was more interested in what I wanted than w...hat a typical person would want in my situation. In the end we were able to finalize everything in a way that I was very happy with. I would recommend Max to anyone.

Want results and an attorney to fight for u? Find another attorney!

Before I hired Max I made sure to inform him of how heavily contested my divorce and child custody case was and that this was going to be a battle. I explained how I needed someone to fight for me. He assured me that he was up to challenge and was on my side and that he would guide me through this. H...e’s very good at taking his time and letting you speak and share your issues and concerns in person but actually getting him to follow through with anything he told you he would do is the exact opposite. It wasn’t long after hiring Max that I realized why his firm doesn’t charge for emails and phone calls. Max has returned one email out of 100’s over the course of almost a year. Max has only once returned a phone call the same day. Not even when I called his office multiple times in tears to inform them that the court ordered electricity bill and water bill were not paid by my husband of 15yrs ( I had been a disabled homemaker for the marriage and mother of two young children) and could he please contact my husbands attorney and could he please help me. Well I went without running water in my home for nearly 3 weeks and this happened 3 times over the course of 10 months. Max never lifted a finger or a phone for that matter to help or call me back. I had to sell what I had left of my personal belongings, all my furniture with the exception of my bed and two dressers and anything of any value and sentimental meaning in order to survive. Before I was bullied into selling my house by a posing council I lived out of my master bedroom for 6 months and used a beat up mini fridge I kept in my closet. It got quite unseasonably cold in Texas this past winter. My heater went out and needed to be replaced on January 1st 2018. It got down to 45 degrees in my house. I had two tiny space heaters to keep warm that I kept in my bedroom. So when the water was shut off for weeks at a time and I was boiling water on the stove to wash and clean with it became crystal clear that I was in this alone. I was prior to my separation hardly wealthy but I could buy groceries when I was hungry, the bills were paid , I dressed nicely and had a normal sized 4 bedroom home in a nice family friendly neighborhood and never dreamed I would have to choose between food and gas for a vehicle I no longer have or having lights on at night instead of being home all alone in a pitch black house stumbling to find my way into the disgusting rancid smelling bathtub. I took for granted just what a privilege having running water in your home is. Without it you can’t flush toilets, wash your clothes clean anything very well and that includes your own body. I had a judges ruling on our side for my husband to still be paying all utilities, do you think Max did anything? Not a darn thing. Even when I called his office nearly panicked and fighting back tears because I recieved a certified letter from the bank letting me know our mortgage had not been paid by my husband in months and was going to be foreclosed on . My husband was also court ordered by our judge to be making that mortgage payment each month. You would think it would be easy enough to rectify or at the very least Max would tell the judge at our court hearings? Nope. It wasn’t until after I took the stand and spoke plainly of the years of domestic violence and of how my ex kidnapped our children and violated the restrictions limiting either one of us from taking them out of Tarrant County much less out of state and all the way to Minnesota that the judge ordered my spousal support be withheld from my husbands paychecks and given directly to me. It’s not that simple. Apparently max had to have the judge sign something putting this into effect so it wasn’t until months later and only after my husband took me back to court to try to have the order removed that I was able to get max to do his job. I could go on forever with accounts like this. Bottom line, DO YOUR HOMEWORK YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Awesome!

Before meeting Max - I was on an emotional roller-coaster due to the process of divorce. Max was appointed to me in order to ensure that I was at peace and doing the right things concerning my job, children, and my now ex-wife. The process was very scary at first- but when I saw "Mad" Max's smile wal...king through the court's hall... I was filled with confidence. My divorce process when so smooth that I would recommend ''Mad'' Max to anyone! Thanks again Max!

Honest

Max was able to explain everything in detail for my divorce case. He was always patient and knowledgable with all of my questions. He made the toughest time in my life way less painful. This being my first divorce it was way easier than expected.

Outstanding and Professional Attorney

One of the hardest things to do, when you know your life is already falling apart because of a divorce, is to put your situation in to the hands of an attorney. The fear of an attorney that is out for their own benefit and the fear of escalating charges adds mounds of stress upon an already stressfu...l situation. I chose Max's firm because of two specific reasons. The initial attorney I met with was caring and understanding and the prices were fixed and clearly understandable. Even with those qualities calming me during the process, I now had a new fear. Would the fixed rate of this firm cause them to not work as hard and try to sweep me through the process as quick as possible? After my first meeting with Max, my assigned attorney, all my fears were laid to rest. Max was warm and welcoming and wanted to know everything about my unique situation. Then he did the one thing that impressed me the most. He asked me how aggressive I wanted to be with the divorce. It is something as simple as that that put me to rest. This wasn't going to be a "get 'em in, get 'em out" type of experience, he was ready to go as aggressive or as amicably as I wanted. Max was always quick to point out several avenues and the possibly outcomes of each decision and then asked me which way I wanted to go on each one, from possession to child support to misc. clauses. Max is absolutely an attorney that I would recommend to anyone having to go through the difficult process of divorce. He may be young, but he is determined, professional and most importantly, excellent at his job. I have zero regrets about working with him and to anyone else lucky enough to have him as your attorney, you won't either.
