I was referred to Daniel Gregory by my niece I had applied for disability but was turned down She told me to go talk to him. My husband and I did. He explained how disability worked and it was hard to get. He took my case. He explained everything to me about what would happen and what I needed to do... on my part. His team kept me informed and helped me through out the process. He won my case. I am very thankful to him and his team.

I was denied when I applied my for disability on my own I wish I would have gone with him from the beginning. The first time I met him he was very honest with me and told me how long the process could take and what to expect. The process was actually faster than I expected because of the hard work he... and his staff put in. I was treated like a person not a case. What a terrific job Mr. Gregory did for us. Social security seems set up to just wear you out with bureaucratic challenges. Mr. Gregory took my case, explained what was going on, and explained the things that needed to be done that I didn't even know about. He helped me get my full disability. ...I would have lost without him. He even got the decision expedited and we didn't have to go to a hearing. I owe him a great big thank you.

I’m taking a moment to submit a review about my wife’s excellent disability attorney, J. Daniel Gregory. Freda now has been granted 100% disability by the Social Security Administration after nearly 4 years effort. Why did it take 4 years? Because the first two lawyers we contacted didn’t have a... clue, frankly. The first one was fired for being cruel to Freda, and the second one dropped us like a hot rock when we drew an administrative law judge he didn’t like. Do you know what neither of them did? Gave us useful advice. An acquaintance referred us to Daniel, and as soon as we sat down with him, he let us know right away that he was going to show us how to gather the type of evidence we needed to provide to Social Security. Not made up evidence; we needed to get the correct tests done that would definitively show Freda’s disability. She had had a stroke and multiple seizures along with chronic pain issues associated with fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. As it turns out, the definitive test for Freda was a psychiatric test that objectively measured how well her mind worked and showed that Freda had severe deficits in memory, among other things. We KNEW that, but we couldn’t PROVE that – until Daniel informed us of the correct test that would provide the solid EVIDENCE Freda needed to prove her case. With Daniel’s help, we didn’t even return to a hearing – the new case was handled administratively and granted in a relatively short time by SSA standards. Would we recommend Daniel? Absolutely. We were blown away by his knowledge of how the SSA works, his aggressiveness (as a former prosecuting attorney if my memory serves) and his clear direction. We wish we had found him at the beginning of our efforts but we lived in California then and hadn’t made the connections that would lead us to him. Forever grateful for his work, Lyle
