Gilbert Russell Rowe

Russell came highly recommended by an attorney friend and he did not disappoint. My case was heavy and I was very upset about my situation, but Russell made light of it with clear answers and a touch of humor. He was straightforward about next steps and expected outcomes and easily reachable for all ...the questions I had. He was able to get me a decent plea bargain, shaving a whole year off of my anticipated probation time. At the plea negotiation in court, he was very organized and we were the first ones in and the first ones out. His preparation made things seamless. Russell is the best!

I do not recommend Rowe. When I first read these reviews I thought they sounded fake & now it makes sense that they must be fake. He moves very slowly on your case. He does not have your best interest in mind. He does not show professionalism when talking to you or dealing with your case. He’s hard t...o reach any time of the day. Had to leave 3 voicemails for one call back and him to not even be informed on the matters! He wasn’t sure where or how he sent his mail. Wasn’t sure any details on the case a week after having the case. Then he was so immature to act as if he couldn’t hear me speaking, but I heard the background noise on his end. I know he heard me! Talks to you like you’re dumb when other lawyers will treat you with respect! I don’t care if you’re homeless, a lawyer or the president.. respect should be given unless disrespected! Does not have an office or an address, just a cell phone that’s hard to reach and a PO Box. In 2 days all he did was confirm what county the case is in. In less then 12 hours our new hired attorney got us a court date 2 days out! Inmate was stuck in jail with no bond and Rowe moved with 0 urgency. Said “next week he could ask about a bond” when other lawyers said they’ll get a bond set the next day first thing in the morning & that inmate has the right to a bond. Your lawyer is supposed to be on your side not work against you or treat you like a criminal! That’s the courts job. If you care about your freedom, do not hire him. If you’re appointed him, do everything you can to hire a different attorney!! RUN in the other direction. Read these “reviews”, not every “client” will type the same way as these reviews do!

Mr. Rowe was appointed by the court after I was arrested for the 2nd time while on felony probation in 2019 . He first bonded me out when the MTA (motion to adjudicate) was filed, all I had to do was let him know when I was going to turn myself in and what card on file to use. I went in at 11pm on a... Tuesday and was out by 3pm on Wednesday. The candor and top tier representation resulted in all charges dropped and my reinstatement to Deferred Adjudication Probation. If I ever get jammed up again he's going to be my first call.

Was very fortunate to have Russell appointed to my unlawful restraint case. He is a very knowledgeable lawyer who genuinely has his clients best interest at heart. He knows when to compromise and when to dig his heal in a fight for client with a strong case or who has been falsely accused, which was ...the case with me. He is a great communicator and always kept me informed. What a relief to have a strong advocate on your site. I would highly recommend using Mr. Rowe!
