Since moving to Aledo in 2006, my wife and I have been increasingly involved in our church, The Crossing, and in support of our Aledo schools. My sons have given two of my pastimes, the first being public address announcing for various sporting events. I have served as the voice of Aledo Baseball since 2009, and two years ago added Aledo Bearcat and Ladycat soccer to my duties.
From doing highlight videos for our youngest son, who played Bearcat football and eventually finished his football career at Texas A&M, I learned to love editing videos.
My wife and I are both privileged to serve as part-time missionaries - Corinne to Cambodia and me to Portugal.
I love reading, really love my law practice, and now spending time with our two grandchildren, ages 3 and two months.

Personable and detailed.
Very personable and willing to work with your specific needs. Went to bat for me when my bank did not understand trust laws.

Great experience with estate planning
Joe worked on a will and living trust for my wife and myself. He was very diligent in getting all of our background information and listened to what we wanted to accomplish with our will. Joe spent a good deal of time drafting and revising the documents so they would satisfy our needs and he was v...

Incorporation
Joe did a good job helping us incorporate our startup. He was responsive to our needs and he performed all the tasks in a timely manner while providing plenty of explanation about each step in the process. I would recommend him for this kind of work.
"Joseph is a well respected estate planning attorney and always goes the extra mile. I endorse him."
"It is good to see how Joe builds the relationships with his clients to learn more about them before he just tries to fit them into a one size fits all package. By getting to know his clients wishes and needs he can offer more individualized solutions."
"I wholeheartedly endorse Mr. Breshears. We have a working relationship with Joseph and are aware of the care and expertise he provides to clients. He is a trusted and experienced attorney in the Aledo Texas area. Whether you require simple or more complex estate and business planning, Joe Breshears will provide you with excellent advice, representation and support."

Fully Probated Suspension issued in TX, 2001
updated on 11/10/2016Fully probated suspension means an attorney is technically suspended but may still practice law. The State monitors the lawyer's activities during the suspension to make sure that he or she does not repeat the behavior.
“In 1999, I elected to leave private law practice to accept a position as Trust Counsel for a non-profit investment firm managing $2 billion in assets. Of nearly 400 clients represented by my firm, three ignored my notice to secure a new attorney to represent them and filed complaints that were directly traceable to their own inaction. The SBOT refused to dismiss the complaints, however, and I eventually decided it was best to accept a period of probation. I harmed none of complainants involved.”
