I had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with the Law Offices of Elizabeth Parmer – Tarrah Lett and I cannot emphasize enough how horrendous my experience was. Several days to weeks would pass without any response to my inquiries, leaving me in the dark and adding unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation. It was nearly impossible to get clear updates on the progress of my case, and when they did bother to respond, it was often with vague and unhelpful information. To make matters worse, the firm consistently failed to complete tasks in a timely manner, important documents were neglected, all of which resulted in a significant delay in my case. It was evident that they had little regard for the urgency of my situation, and their lackadaisical approach only exacerbated the already stressful legal process. One of the most egregious errors was their failure to have the judge sign necessary documents before transferring my case to another county, although I was charged for this task. This negligence not only demonstrated a fundamental lack of attention to detail but also caused unnecessary complications and setbacks. It was astonishing to witness such a basic oversight from a supposedly reputable law firm. Adding insult to injury, the legal advice provided by Law Offices of Elizabeth Parmer was not only inaccurate but also, in some instances, blatantly false. Which I had to find out on my own. It became clear that they were not well-versed in the intricacies of my case, and their misguided guidance led me down a path of frustration, wasted time and a $5,000 retainer fee. The paperwork they stated I was to follow was never signed by the judge, rendering their advice useless. In conclusion, my experience with Law Offices of Elizabeth Parmer was nothing short of a nightmare. From the lack of communication to the failure to provide accurate advice and service, this law firm demonstrated a shocking level of incompetence. Betsy was my second attorney on a complicated, high-conflict custody case. She is smart as a whip, no-nonsense, and genuine. All attorneys at her practice know their stuff, and they take time to consult with each other to get the best outcome for the client. She is honest about expectations, and sh...e does not promise what she is not confident she can deliver. She was professional and on-point in court, and I felt relieved when talking with her before going before the judge. She knows how to keep her clients calm in stressful situations. Though I didn't get my most optimal outcome (child custody battles are long and expensive beasts), I was fairly represented by someone who was passionate about doing her best and compassionate for the situation. If you have a high-conflict custody dispute (it's a lot tougher when you have a messy custody situation), she should be your go-to gal. My first attorney was not aggressive and did not seem to care about my situation. If you have a strong case Betsy is your best asset to get it presented as such. She cares for her clients, which I am not sure all attorneys do. She knows how to hold back the "gold" in your case and surprise the other party. She is great at asking leading questions in a nice, calm way which can drive the other party mad. But she's not mean; she's cunning. She is also honest and upfront about pricing so you won't be surprised. Though you often pay for what you get with an attorney, Betsy is very reasonable, and worth every penny. I consulted with about twenty FW attorneys before meeting with her and she was highly recommended. I should have gone with her from the beginning. I have no doubt I will be back in court for more modifications to my order. Betsy is the only attorney I will call when that time comes. Oh, and she's got a great personality and is hilarious. That really helps keep things calm and breezy during stressful times. We were all hugging her as we left the courtroom... family, friends, witnesses. She is the kind of attorney you can hug after it's all over. If you want to prevail in court, or even just get the best possible outcome for your case as a custodial parent, call her. Her staff is super helpful too. You won't regret it.
