I went to Truman in 2000-2001 I was very young and my financial life, at the time, was what seemed to be a huge mess. I was referred to him by a close friend and decided to meet with him to see what my options were. I walked in his office skeptical, with doubts, and questions, even worried he would g...ive me a run for my money; mostly because I was so young. I quickly discovered he was there to help me. After we talked I realized he was doing this to actually help people get a fresh start. He wasn't just doing it for the paycheck, he actually cared to give people the relief or fresh start they were desperately looking for. He was thorough and patient. Fast forward to 2010 married with my first child and first house. I had lost my job and my husband was working two jobs to keep the essentials. The credit card companies didn't care nor did the banks. We needed to save our house and salvage what we could. I reached out to him once again and it was so nice to see he was the same as I remembered him. I was worried he would've changed: work ethic, interest, etc. But he hadn't, he was still friendly thorough and very helpful. He answered every question and he and his sister walked us step by step through the process. Fortunately, there hasn't been a third meeting but I'm always ready to refer him to anyone who is looking for a great attorney. :)
