I have been practicing law for over 30 years. I was a Tarrant County Assistant District Attorney for almost 14 years and prosecuted everything from shoplifting to murder. I worked with the Narcotic Task Force for two years and prosecuted asset seizures and forfeitures as well. I have tried hundreds of cases, both prosecution and defense, during my legal career.
I am the Past President of the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and I am court-approved to receive appointments in Tarrant County. I also handle criminal law cases in Parker and Wise Counties as well. I am also licensed to practice in the Northern District of Texas and have defended a client in Houston in the Southern District.
I pride myself on individual attention to each client and working hard to provide the best and most vigorous representation possible.

She is a bulldog in a court room highly respected in and out of court rooms.
She was my court appointed lawyer. It was my 3rd repeated offense for possession of controlled substance under a gram which is a state felony, and I was stressing they were enhancing it and I was going away for a few years. I was shocked when she came up to me and said I had two options 5 years defer...

Amazing!
Kim was a God sent! I got arrested on a Sunday night and got out on Monday evening. I took Tuesday to research lawyers and hired her on Wednesday. By FRIDAY she had my charges dropped and I didn't have to go to trial. (felony and misdemeanor) Just talking with her on the phone I knew I had picked the...

I highly recommend meeting with her to find out the facts without the BS that most lawyers throw at you!
She knows the law and is direct/to the point but very pleasant about it, She is also well liked by the people in the court house including other attorneys when i mentioned her name.. This is what you're looking for in an attorney. I was skeptical about having all 5 star reviews, Once you meet with he...

Case Dismissed
The criminal justice system is not fair. Lady Justice is truly not blind. So it behooves you to find a lawyer that understands how that system works. Kim Minick is that lawyer. My husband was a victim of vengeance and greed, but found himself on the wrong side of the judicial system. Kim used he...

A God Send!!!!
Kim stayed on our case from the second we called with a Felony charge. Within four days, our case was dismissed and over!!!! We can't express our gratitude enough for what Kim was able to do for my daughter and our family! She is exactly what I wanted in an attorney. She has experience on both sides ...
"Kim Minick is an extremely knowledgeable and gifted defense attorney. I have personally worked with her on cases and have observed her hard work, dedication, and professionalism. She is not only very skilled, but also has a great relationship with judges and prosecutors in Tarrant County. I highly recommend her."
"Every time we've spoken, I've left knowing more about the practice of law. Kim has always been friendly, professional and knowledgable, and makes Tarrant County a better place to practice law."
".I had a client in FTW who was charged with possesion of bath salts. I called Kim to talk to the judge about her potential bond forfeiture. She went ahead and retrieved the discovery, looked up the chemical name in the code, called the lab tech, found out it was NOT illegal, and called the prosecutor. The client was about to be jailed again for not reporting on her bond, but after Kim's investigation, the prosecutor dismissed the case. Kim went way over and above on a case that she was not even hired on. It was very impressive. I can only imagine what she does for her own clients."
