Great Lawyers

Mr. Horton has been a great help in extending my expired license case, and has done so now more than once. I would recommend them to everyone.

I Was Lied To

I contacted Attorney's Ofce & Spoke with Stephanie. I was told that the Atty could represent me on some tickets (Warrants). I paid down what was required. I was told that I would get a letter of representation/contract & was told that they would type up & send to the municipal court on Monday (3/28) ...& my warrants would be lifted by Friday tomorrow. I called Monday or Tuesday (3/29 or 3/30) was told that the contract was not ready & would be available within 24 hrs. I called back today (3/31) & asked to speak with Stephanie. I was informed by another lady (Naomi or Nomi) that she was not available. I asked if she could have her give me a call because I was at lunch. Received no call. I call back & Stephanie was still not available. The other woman placed me on hold. She called me Ms. Smith, which is not my name. I advised her of that, she then told me that they had emailed contract to me yesterday @ 11:13am I checked my email & advised her that no email received after checking my email & spam. I was then told that they had sent over the letter of representation to the Grand Prairie Ofce. I then asked to speak with the Attorney so I could advised him of what was going on & she stated he was not available. I then asked for the email for the Attorney & was provided with a customer service email. I was then advised that letter of representation was sent to the Grand Prairie Ofce. I contacted Grand Prairie Ofce & spoke with Tammy & Alexis. Alexis advised me that no letter received from that Attorney to represent me. I have been lied to & nothing was done as mentioned. Do not tell lies if you are not going to do what you stated you would do-Stephanie. This is very unprofessional. You were kind & attentive in getting my down payment. With this type of service I don't trust or feel like I will need to have that firm represent me. Do not take money if you are not able to assist clients needs. I don't have the time or money to be ignored.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education

  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
