also known as Ricky J. Mitchell
I graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2001, and I was admitted to practice law in Oklahoma in 2001. After clerking and interning for a trial attorney in the areas of civil litigation, family law, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice, guardianship, probate, and general practice I opened his own solo practice in 2001.
I moved my practice to the Tarrant County area in 2007, and absolutely love the area. I primarily handle family law cases, but I also have experience in personal injury cases.
I have been married for ten years, and I have three wonderful children with whom I am very active.

Excellent family attorney
Rick is an excellent attorney. He listens well to client wishes, he's honest about what he thinks he can do to help your case, and he's a stellar litigator when it comes to being in the court room. I've hired Rick repeatedly to represent me and my children and I always know he'll do an incredible job...

Fixed my custody
Cannt say enough great things about Rick. After two large firms messed up my custody Rick got me more time than standard. He can easily handle high conflict cases and is well respected by the courts and counselors. If you have a high conflict case with litigious opposing party, then hire Rick.

I have been triggered since going into court wi...

Do NOT Recommend
Without going in to case details, I do not recommend this law firm to anyone that is looking for aggressive family law representation. My review is not based on any outcome, but it is based on lack of attorney communication and courtroom performance. Mr. Mitchell is a nice person to your face, but ...

I hired Mr. Mitchell to assist me with my daughter coming back home with me. I was open with him on my history and all that had transpired. He got to work quick but little did I know it wouldn't be in my favor. An amicus attorney was hired for my daughter and I was told her fees would be billed to th...
